Turkey Trottin' the Grand Strand

Sea Watch Towers Myrtle BeachThanksgiving is fast approaching but it’s not too early to make your reservations at Sea Watch Towers Myrtle Beach to stay at over the holiday. Maybe the whole family has decided to have a Thanksgiving vacation in South Carolina this year and you’re responsible for where to put them all. You’ll find a large enough condo at our Sea Watch Towers Myrtle Beach to hold all of you. We wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Here’s some holiday related events you should take note of. Beginning with a Turkey Trot where you can get that exercise before the holiday and support a good cause as well. On Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. “A fun walk for a cause” will take place at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm. The Turkey Trot is a program, designed by the Horry County Parks & Recreation, directed towards raising funds for existing and future programs pertaining to Special Needs and Disabilities. This is also a great opportunity for people to experience the living history of farming in Horry County.

There’s another trot on Thanksgiving Day. The Surfside Beach Turkey Trot will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, November 24, 2011. The Grand Strand’s best and largest Turkey Trot will start and finish at the Surfside Pier in Surfside Beach, SC with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean! The event will feature a 10K, 5K, 1 mile and a free Kid’s Tot Trot! Staying at Sea Watch Towers Myrtle Beach you’ll be just a short distance from where the trot begins.
