Annual North Myrtle Beach Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday, December 2, 2011 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

The North Myrtle Beach Christmas Tree will be officially lit on Friday, December 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at McLean Park. The park will be transformed into a brilliant holiday scene with luminaries, decorations and the spirit of Christmas. The ceremony will include holiday songs and entertainment by local dance groups. Children are invited to visit with Santa and receive a free bag of candy! The North Strand Optimist Club will serve complimentary hot chocolate and refreshments. ??

The Myrtle Beach tree lighting celebration will take place at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center with appearances by Santa, live entertainment, and other fun and festive holiday activities.??

Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach is hosting its Annual Festival of Trees from November 1st until December 31. Over 50 trees will be on display adorned in unique ornaments, representing the great diversity of the U.S.
