Spinnaker 503 Oceanfront - Windy Hill Section

It was a great stay, we were here for a wedding and it was just awesome. Sent great time with my brother and enjoyed the beach. Our stay at the Spinnikar was very nice right on the ocean you can’t beat that.

The Spinnaker building is in a centralized location in NMB and close to everything. It's a smaller building, so its beach was not too crowded, even during mid-summer. The furnishings and decor of the living room and bedrooms was superb. It was obviously recently updated, and I hope the owners will continue that updating to the bathrooms, which were showing some wear. The kitchen was ok but had a real hodge-podge of equipment/utensils. There were no cake pans or baking dishes. I had to bake a casserole in a pyrex bowl. There were some plumbing issues, and the washing machine leaked water on the floor. The dryer was even worse, venting directly into the bathroom blowing hot air and lint everywhere. The general cleanliness of the unit was fine, but it could use a deep cleaning, probably like most vacation units in the summer which have been renting continuously for weeks. These issues didn't greatly affect the quality of our stay, so we reported them to the rental company, asking them to wait until we left to fix them. Hopefully they'll address these issues before the next renters come in. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, especially if the bathrooms get updated.

To Jeff K. Who wrote a review of our condo, I must respectfully disagree with his review . I suggest that he go down the street and pay triple the cost for an ocean front condo. He is the type that abuses the rental unit then makes complaints. The unit was recently remodeled and is very much in demand

Love this condo. Having stayed here 2 years ago I miss the jungle motif but glad they kept the monkey butler.
Could use a couple of ottomans.
Should also have instructions for the fireplace.
Otherwise will stay here again.

Spinnaker 503 was the nicest place we have ever stayed at the beach. The condo was reasonably priced. It was close to the beach. Nice pool. Property was clean and very well maintained. Everything we needed was there. Cant wait to go again next summer.

Our rental company experience was fine until we arrived and had to wait hours until after 4 to receive the key! The previous company would contact their cleaning crew, and, if cleaning were complete, we could get the key. NB Realty made no effort to accommodate us that way, so, road-weary and hot, we just had to wait in a long line at 4. Even then, my husband was treated rudely by staff. Won't happen again.

This unit has great views however it needs a deep clean and has some bad maintenance issues. One of the sliders to the balcony doesn’t lock so if you have a little ones this is very dangerous. The unit needs a deep clean(management co. Said that is the owners responsibility, not theirs), from wiping down the walls to dusting everything to cleaning under the sofa, serious there was trash and about an inch of duster und there. The faucets in both baths had a handle that din’t belong to the valve so you either scalded yourself or stood in freezing cold water to shower. The jetted tub had mildew chunks that came out when we attempted to use it! It really needs to be painted and honestly less is more with the decor, there is something crammed in every corner. The tv screens in each room were the size of my laptop screen, so enjoying television at night was a problem as you can’t see the tv! Positives were the location of the building, nice pool area and the balcony views. Kitchen was very well stocked if you wanted to prepare a meal. Overall because of how dirty it was and maintenance issues especially the balcony door not locking, I would not stay here again. The kitchen cabinets had dried food running down the sides. Also replace the recliner the foot rest was a just board covered in fabric which hurt the back of your ankles and the recliner was stained and filthy. I think for price you can find cleaner options.

Arrived to find rental had not been cleaned. Someone finally showed up at 8:00. NBR compensated us for the inconvenience. Otherwise, it was a great time.

Condo is small but comfortable and has everything you need. Was clean and the beds were comfortable.Kitchen is modern and has everything you need. Appreciated the washer/drier in the unit. Balcony and location are the highlight-directly on the beach. Quiet building, easy quick elevators. Bathrooms need updating; the master bath especially. Has a very old jacuzzi that doesn't look clean or inviting. Shower is in jacuzzi. Toilets are older. Pool was not open due to construction on the building.

This is a middle of the road rental unit with great views and beach access. The place is just tired and needs updates. The building has to be from the 70s or early 80s. The place wasn’t dirty per say, but it felt work down. The TVs in the bedrooms were the size of laptops. The master bathroom is awful - no room on counters and the shower head hit me mid chest. The balcony is very nice and the location is great. Bring your own wipes and for the right price - this isn’t a bad option. I just don’t understand people who let the rental units get run down. You have to reinvest and keep them fresh to command good rental rates and return customers. I will not be one of those in this instance.

Booked this condo last minute for a quick Memorial Day getaway with our two boys. The location was fine with great views and proximity to the beach. The building is older, as are many in north myrtle so that’s to be expected. The unit has good bones but needs a serious deep clean and updating. The entire Place is not not dirty per say, but it’s definitely tired. The rugs are getting gross and the finishes are worn. The kitchen is cluttered and stuff just looks like it’s been around the block one too many times. The master bath is small and awkward. In fact, the bath off the guest room was much better. It wouldn’t take much to get this unit up to par and that would of course bring more dollars from renters and better reviews. Anyway - not a total disaster by any means, but I would not stay in this unit again unless they up their game.
