Seawatch South 807 - Oceanfront-Shore Drive Section

We stayed in the same unit this summer for a baseball tournament and returned this Fall for a college visit. We love the view from this unit. Only complaint is that the televisions are very antiquated. With it getting dark early we wanted to watch some movies, but televisions not smart TVs. Otherwise wonderful!

This condo is in a great location and right on the beach. There was plenty of space for four of us adults, which was nice. It will accommodate more, but the bathrooms are pretty small. It worked well for us.

We have been staying at SeaWatch resort for several years. The property is a great location and the amenities are awesome with all the pools and hot tubs. This review mimics many of the others I read before our trip but thought it couldn’t be that bad, but all reviews were right on point. The condo had amazing views and overall felt clean. However when we went to go to bed the first night we discovered the comforters had stains on them. This brought on a little caution to the actual cleanliness. The shower and sinks had mold around the faucets. The coffee pot, which was a cheap Walmart coffee pot from early 2000, was very stained and moldy on the inside. Being a cheap pot, they should have just tossed it for a new one. Same for the alarm clock; the base had broken off and someone tried to superglue it back, unsuccessfully. Just toss it, who uses those anymore anyway. The bed in the master bedroom was terrible. It was sunken down in both spots where you lay and raised in the middle. The tv’s were a joke. Not one remote worked. I think my girls’ tablets were bigger than the one in the queen guest room. We did have to drive to the realty office for check-in, which I was prepared for. It was really pointless as I signed a paper I had already signed electronically, they took my cc information and wrote it down on carbon copy paper like it was 1980, and gave me physical keys to keep up with all week. They could streamline this process and come back into 2023. Overall we enjoyed our stayed but won’t be choosing this particular condo for future stays.

The staff at North Beach Realty was very helpful. We arrived several hours before check-in time at 4pm and stopped by their office. I'm glad we did because they gave us the parking passes and pool wristbands so we could enter Sea Watch while we waited for the unit to be ready. And at 4pm, we didn't need to wait in the long check-in line - we went to a separate desk and go our keys in only a few minutes.

We stay at Sea Watch every year but this is the first time in this specific unit. The unit is very nice. It has apparently been remodeled in the last year. The remodel is done very well. The unit is clean. The balcony is large and include beach stuff like boogie boards, etc. The resort is in a great location. No major complaints.

Only a couple small negatives:
1. The kitchen is a bit small even for this 3 bedroom condo configuration. We've stayed in a couple other 3 BR condos at Sea Watch and they are all this type of galley kitchen - but this one is a bit smaller than the others. So much so that more than 1 person in the kitchen is crowded.
2. The unit uses a traditional key for the door. An electronic lock with a code would be more convenient.
3. The TV in the queen bedroom is unbelievably small. Small than many modern computer monitors - not an exageration.

We had a wonderful vacation once again at Seawatch Resort! We love coming here because of all the amenities that are offered and being right on the beach. My only complaint was the process of getting the keys and signing paperwork with the realty company.

The overall rating of the condo and resort was excellent. It was clean, well stocked, least access, great location, good clean beach and lots to do.
The only negative, is a big one, the master bedroom mattress was atrocious! It was really old, had a huge imprint from an overweight person who slept in the same spot for a long period of time..... most uncomfortable bed I have EVER slept in!!!

This place is perfect!! It’s not often you rent a place and it exceeds your expectations. This condo did just that. Spotless, roomy, full of homey surprises, and a view that pictures don’t do justice. We were thrilled with everything, and are already planning for when we can return. Our experience at SeaWatch resort in Myrtle Beach was great. Condo was clean, nicely furnished, well equipped, with a fantastic view of the ocean from the balcony. While the bedrooms and bathrooms are a touch on the older side the kitchen and living room feel more recently updated. The pictures online make the balcony feel smaller than it is. Our family of 5 enjoyed meals in the deck chairs on the balcony every day. The kitchen has everything you’d need. Many little thoughtful extras like beach chairs, sand toys, box fans for the bedroom if you like an extra breeze or white noise. While there are other condo buildings close by, this area of the beach feels much less developed and crowded compared to other areas in Myrtle... which translates to a lot of space to spread out on the beach and not feel overly crowded. Walmart and the Tanger Outlets being less than 5 min down the road were very nice too. Beach access was very convenient. All the pools and hot tubs were more on the crowded side but plenty of times during the day you can find an open spot. The only thing I’d really recommend is updating the mattress in the main bedroom suite. Other than that, it was a great stay with good communication and detail from the management company.

Exactly what was advertised! Myself and four children felt right at home with just the right amount of space and absolutely everything we needed there. The beach view was gorgeous! Conveniently located to Walmart and within 10 minutes of many activities. Will definitely recommend and be back!

A lot of families and various activities. Accessible to stores. Overall, was clean, we did find utensils/containers a bit dirty, washed everything before use. Nice having washer and dryer, fabulous view of ocean from huge balcony.

This vacation rental was absolutely relaxing. The living room is surrounded by windows with amazing beach and ocean views. The space in the unit was incredible and it was clean. I loved the open floor plan and being able to have the space and cookware to make meals with the doors open listening to the ocean. The pools and hot tubs were great. We will definitely be returning.

Check-in and check-out was easy and quick. The rental was nice, stocked appropriately, and as pictured. The property was nice, but there were some downsides; pools were constantly closed, even with just a sprinkle of rain, no thunder. Property offerings were over exaggerated, arcade was tiny and not in working condition, the tiki bar was barely open, and the ice cream shop was very limited hours.
Considering it rained all week, off and on, you would think they would allow you to at least use the pools. The balcony, understanding it is hard to keep clean, was very dirty and sandy. It was difficult to not track in the sand/dirt back into the condo. These should and need a good cleaning, especially for the level of rental this is. Finally, the lifeguard situation on the beach was appalling. A serious false sense of security. It was extremely rare a lifeguard was actually monitoring those in the water, and this is not an exaggeration. They were more interested in socializing or checking the chair rentals they are responsible for. This is unacceptable in my opinion. Finally, the monopoly of lifeguards putting up umbrella's and chairs straight across the beach front, forcing you to sit down at the water or behind (with no view), is extremely ignorant to those who pay to stay their - or even those who own property there. This by far was the most discouraging of all.

The apartment was nice and clean with a fantastic view. The only problem was that the indoor pool was closed the entire time. Since the weather was too cold the kids did not get to swim at all.

This was a great condo & great view of the beach. The kitchen & living room was great! They had beach chairs. I just think they need to hire a different cleaning service. Some spider webs in the curtains, dirty wash cloth in the bathroom on arrival, hair on the pillow on check-in. However, I would return again.

Location wasn't to bad, ocean front was beautiful but there was nothing close for a walking distance.
Hotel was overpriced, for money that we paid , it was discouraging what we got. It was not feel secure, even though they fixed a little thing on the door at the same day. Wallpaper in the bathroom was pealing off, the shower curtain rod was rusty, no shampoo even for a start. Kitchen was great.

The condo was just as described and pictured. It's a little further up north than we usually stay but the location was nice and quiet. The pools were great and the balcony and view from the balcony were fantastic! there were even a lot of beach toys, chairs, and boogie boards which was great! anything needed was just a short drive away. this condo is very clean and well maintained. I am VERY picky about where I stay and I have no complaints about this condo. The only thing I can say for a negative is that the mattress is a little hard but that's all about preference. we had 4 adults and 1 child and the rooms were perfect to accommodate. I would definitely recommend this condo for singles and families alike. the process of renting with North Beach Realty was very easy! would definitely recommend them. we had a great time!

Unit was spacious and very functional for my family of 6.
Actual inside of the unit was very clean and beautiful.
Exterior of Seawatch is not clean and could use some upkeep. The balcony carpet and windows were not clean and there is alot of wear on the walls and doors. To have such nice rooms the exterior could stand to be much nicer.

This is is a great place to stay. It had everything that a family would want in a beach resort. Hot tubs, pools, lazy rivers, easy beach access, a beautiful view, and the condo was perfect. The only negative was that the elevators were not well maintained. I am sure that we will be back.

Beautiful property. There are great activities for children, poolside music for everyone and a wonderful buffet breakfast buffet. All staff was friendly and helpful. On arrival we found SW 805 a very attractive condo. We did our grocery shopping for the week and unpacked. In the evening around 11.30 p.m. when we went to go to bed we found bugs in the bed. I called the emergency number and was told nothing could be done until 9 a.m.
We had to find other accommodations for the night. The next morning at 9 a.m. we were at the office. Terry Gorman was very apologetic and moved us into SW 807. We then had to check all our clothes and luggage and move every thing into 807. After moving every thing we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation.

Our experience was great. Great location and great accommodations. I would rent this unit and recommend this unit in a heartbeat. My only suggestion would be to have a keyless(keypad) entry so that only 2 keys don't become issue for larger group.

My family and I rented a condo located ont the seawatch plantation. we had a beautiful ocean view also overlooking the pool. the view alone was worth the 3000 per week. it was a three bedroom condo and very spacious. When I arrived I encountered stained linens and stained liner in the guest shower. In addition, there was rust all over the shower curtains which immediately caused me to wash the linens provided all over again because I was very disgusted with that situation. Once everything was washed, I notified the Realtor of the issues and proceeded to enjoy my vacation. I don't think I will be coming back to this particular condo unit but definitely would rent on that property again. The property itself was very clean and the staff was very accommodating.

My only concern was the lack of proper internet service,I was advised to contact Seawatch who advised me to call Time Warner who advised me to call the internet administrator and this loop when on and on and no service was provided I ended up having to go to the lobby to check messages etc. Normally this would not be a big issue but when you are still trying to operate a business it was truly upsetting. I would have to consider another location next year if this is not resolved.

Great view from 8th floor. Too much lower would have been noisy from the pool. Try to get beach-facing that does not overlook pool. Condo could have been cleaner but not too bad.

The only issue we had was that we did not have enough towels and could not get it from the lobby area, they told us to call the realty and ask for some who we could not get in contact with most of the time. Other than that it was a great vacation.

Our stay at this unit was very dissappointing. It was just one problem after another. The first 3 days and last 2 days there was the loudest sound coming from the ceiling area. It happened all day and night. I was so loud that it would wake our 14 month old grandson up throughout the night. They did do something to fix it after we complained, but then it returned the last two day of our stay. It was so bad that our son and his family left a day early. The toilet ran and the carpet were wet like something was leaking for two days of our stay. The dishwasher drawer was broken, along with the shelf in the frig. We checking out we asked if there was anything the rental company could do considering everything that went wrong during our stay, and nothing. The lady said she would have her manager call us and we never heard from her. We liked the location, but thats about it.

Enjoyed location and views from Seawatch resort. It was conveniently located to the Cal Ripken baseball complex. The condo was clean and comfortable. The plumbing made some noise and I didn't realize we needed to bring our own toilet paper. We would stay again and suggest it to friends.

The property is absolutey gorgeous. The management crew can only be described as warm, courteous and professional in manner. I have visited the property to celebrate my mother's 77th, 78th and 79th birthdays with my siblings (travelling from PA, AL & FL). Lots of fun places to shop, eat and visit near the property. A variety of churches nearby. The view of the beach from the property is breathtaking. Perfect spot for singles or families. Will definitely be back next year.

I was very happy with the condo. It was as described and matched the pictures. The condo is on a corner. From one side you can see the ocean and from the other side it overlooks the pools. We had six people and had plenty of room. I would stay there again and I would recommend it.

The views were awesome and we would come back again to the same condo. The only thing that I have negitive to say is that the stove was dirty. Whoever used it last did not clean up after themselves. Other than that the condo was very clean and neat. Had a wonderful vacation!

The location is awesome. The resort is conveniently located for those of us who enjoy shopping. I found a great church for an early Sunday morning service (Risen Christ/Resurrection Church). The staff at the resort are warm and friendly. Parking is great. The beach is clean. The pools and water facilities are well kept. The unit itself is absolutely charming. I am definitely going back next year. I loved the view from the unit. I loved the ambiance and the atmosphere in general. The staff at the realty shop were awsome. Most importantly... the price is right! Thank you for a wonderful vacation. I told everybody I know to skip the Caribbean and head on down to Myrtle Beach for the time of their lives!!!!!

This was an excellent place to take a group of friends. It was near shopping, restaurants, and had an on-site tiki bar...everything we needed! Unit was clean and very comfortable. Loved the wrap around balcony with ocean & pool views. I will go again.
