SeaWatch South 1002 Oceanview-Shore Drive Section

Condo was comfortable and nicely decorated! Due to the design of the building, if it rained, puddling formed right in front of our door. This meant walking thru water just to get to the elevator. Also due to the open courtyard, children at the firepit in the evening could be heard yelling 10 stories up inside our condo. Also, need more handicap parking spots! On the positive side, SeaWatch has pools, hot tubs, lazy river, a restaurant, activities for children and an excellent location! North Beach Realty was professional and attended to our maintenance issues quickly and efficiently. Always a pleasure to rent with Victoria at North Beach!

We have rented this condo for a few years now. Although we love the view and location, this year the condo was a bit disappointing. The pre-cleaning was not done well, and several things in the kitchen had been removed or damaged. The condo itself is a good place to relax and unwind, but I would recommend that you inspect it upon arrival.

My husband, son and I came to connect with my brother and his family. It was an amazing time. Our families did not stay in the same location, so we did not take too much advantage of the amenities at SeaWatch, but we did enjoy the pool, the balcony and the ocean view. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was decent and had a great view but wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. The sheets had hair all over them and we washed before going to bed. The other two beds had questionable stains on the side of the mattress protectors. The mattresses were horrible. We were happy to get home where we could get a good nights sleep. The pools and lazy rivers were also not very clean even at 10am. The only way we would stay at this resort again would be if we had no other options. I assumes being a Wyndham Resort it would be clean and well kept.

The condo was beautiful and had enough tom for my husband, two children and myself to be comfortable for almost a week. The view was amazing and the amenities at this resort are unparalleled. Pools, hot tubs, tiki bar and the beach access were all amazing. We had such a great time and will be coming back next year! It's a quite area to stay in especially for myrtle beach and the grocery store is only about a 6 min drive. Great restaurants, you'll need to drive to them though for dinner as the restaurant at the resort closes at 3pm. The pier is an easy walk down the beach and huge! Pier food was great! I would recommend this place for sure.

We were desperate to get out of our home and have a change of scenery. We found this home last minute after searching for weeks and this was the perfect choice! The home had everything we could need for our party of 5, was clean and comfortable. Steps from the beach and loads of pool options. I enjoyed drinking my coffee and looking at the ocean daily. We hated to leave. I would definitely book this home again!

We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend both the property management company and this particular location and condo. The property was clean and well maintained although on the small side. We had four adults staying here and it was good but more than four would be a tight fit.

We rented the condo for a week and couldn’t be happier. The unit was clean, comfortable and close to everything. With a view of the ocean from the balcony and only steps from the beach, it was perfect. We stayed with our kids, aged 12,4,2 and there was more than enough to do for everyone. It was also close to the outlets and stores to stock the fridge. The coffee maker did not work, but upon hearing this the owners delivered a new one the next working day.

Overall we had a great time at Myrtle beach and would recommend this unit to anyone. I would not suggest staying with more than five people, as it may get tight, but for our family it was perfect.

Everything was easy from renting to checking in at North Reality. Condo has been updated as well. Plenty of pools and tiki bar were great! Central location was fantastic for our adventures while there. Only issue was the beds had no cover. There was just a top bed spread and then just one bed sheet to cover up with. Didn’t want to keep bed spread on because we weren’t sure if they had been washed or not.

My husband and I spent a week vacation at Seawatch Resirt with 4 grandchildren(all boys) 17,12, 19, and 8 years old. My husband and I have stayed at Seawatch before but not in July ( either May or early June.). In July there was too much drinking, too crowded at the pool and beach area, and not any management supervision at the pool areas to cut out hotse play by the younger adults and kids. As far as our room we paid more than we have the past several years at the Wyndham Ocean Boulevard which had larger rooms, shower and bath in the master bedroom. This condo was privately owned so supplies offered regularly at a condo was not there such as paper towels, toilet paper, clean towels mid week, etc. There wasn't a pantry area in kitchen which meant we had to leave groceries in hallway in our plastic container. Just too small for 6 people. Also no sheets and comforter packed up for pull out sofa for the 17 yo who wanted his own space. The pool area was wet and dangerously slippery for kids and adults. The trash bin was not open on the 10th floor making it hard to keep the trash out of room. Will not stay there with grandkids again. A great place early or later in year but back to the well supervised and maintained Ocean Boulevard next year with grandkids. The condo was nice and maintained well but not large enough for a family of 6 especially when you want to stay in and cook. Also only one handicapped ramp through the partying crowd with the beach buggy to take our bogey boards, chairs, sand toys and towels, icechest to the beach. Also at high tide there is no beach at SeawTcg.

Booked through VRBO only to find out this was through a realtor. Condo had only 2 sets of keys for 5 adults which was a major inconvenience. Additional fees charged not disclosed up front.

Arrival was delayed by one day due to Hurricane Matthew but our Property Management contact "Victoria Vidmar" was very helpful in re-arranging our stay and ensuring our needs were met. There were a few issues with noise etc at the resort due to storm damage repairs being conducted while we were there but given we had the resort almost to ourselves we have nothing to complain about. All in all it was a good vacation at a good resort that i would probably return to in the future.

Great place to stay SeaWatch. We have been staying at this resort for at lease 7 years. First time stay in this condo/unit. Like the upgrades the owners have done with the stainless steel appliances and the up keep compared to others units we have stay. Would stay again in this unit but will have to wait for next year for more vacation time.

Upon arrival, our door would not open (one key did not fit the door) the other key was very difficult to turn. Upon contacting the property management we were informed that the door is difficult to open and was a known issue. A replacement key was delivered to us that evening. Some work was done to the door and we did not have any more issues opening or locking the door. After entering, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working. HVAC came and discovered that the unit was leaking and needed to be replaced. It was the July 4th weekend, so a new AC unit could not be purchased util Tuesday. I will give the property management credit that they continued to send the HVAC morning and evening to try to keep the unit working. However, it did get very hot between the service visits. Once the new unit was installed our vacation was very comfortable. Despite the mishaps with the maintenance of the property, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the attention to correcting the issues. I understand that equipment goes bad and needs to be replaced sometimes. The property was clean and the room/property had all the amenities as promised. We enjoyed the location and we would stay at SeaWatch Plantation again.

We rented unit 1002 at Seawatch Plantation through North Beach Realty. Previously we stayed at Seawatch by renting time share owners unused weeks. Unit 1002 was definitely the least impressive condo we have stayed in at Seawatch. I would call it "minimally maintained". We paid $1754 for the week, again we have stayed in nicer units for less. We arrived, our first impression was a front door that was rusty and not cared for. We walked in the door to look up and see a car clip air freshener clipped to an air vent....really?! The units decor is dated but we can look past that if we hadn't paid what we did. Nonetheless we were there for the beach and pools. We put our things in the bedrooms and my toddler brought my husband an empty carton of cigarettes that were next to the TV. When it was time to cook I pulled out one rusty frying pan. I sent an email to Victoria and within a short time a new set of pans were delivered. Also she stated that the cigarette pack should have been found by housekeeping and that is not their usual standard of housekeeping. We started having allergies in the unit, not outside just in the unit. Puffy, itchy eyes, runny noses.. Especially my husband and youngest son. We think that probably although no animals are allowed people probably bring them anyway. Also the air filter in the laundry room appears that it has missed at least a years worth of changings. The pull out sofa needs a new mattress.. It was terrible. So I would say that the unit isn't worth more than $1200 for a week and NB realty needs to perform better maintenance of the unit. The pools were great and of course the beach doesn't disappoint.

Seawatch Resort is a family friendly resort with amenities for children and adults....the location provides opporunities to enjoy the quiet of nature and yet is conveniently located near business/show activities. This condo is quite nice however it is not well equipped for cooking/eating.

vaction experience was good.
handle to microwave was broken but we could still use microwave.
air conditioning on our last day was not working.
when we checked in staff removed a key off our key ring because she said it did not match, after we were there 2 days we realized the key was to the trash area so we could not get in.
when turning in our keys, reported the above to the gentleman working, did not seem to be interested and I wanted to make sure the above was not fixed prior to the next renters

Almost everything was great for our vacation. The only drawback is the noise. You could hear people showering in the next room and hear people apparently moving furniture above our unit. Other than the noise, the room was really nice and the property was great. I would recommend Seawatch to my friends.

My girlfriends and I wanted a nice place to stay over a weekend. It was difficult to find a property at MB that would allow us to stay for such a limited time. This location was a nice place to stay, clean and easy access to the beach. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed the accommodations.

The Condo was very clean and the amenities were plentiful. We were close to everything. I would recommend this property to anyone with no more than 6 in their party even though you can sleep 8. The only complaint was the mattress on the sofa bed was terrible and needs replaced. The beach chairs (only two were usable) and small cooler we found in the closet were a nice surprise (although I later found out they were left from previous renters not the owner.) It was a nice amenity to have so you didn't have to rent, buy or find room to bring a beach chair. All in all renting this condo was a great experience and I will look for it to be available when we vacation in Myrtle again.

The stay was great. It was a little confusing getting to the rental place and the hotel. We would of like the air conditioning a little cooler, especially at night while we slept. Also, we couldn't use all the facilities. My son wanted to use the exersize room in the north tower, but you needed a swipe card and we only had keys.

We had a great stay at Seaside. The condo was clean, the people were very nice and the resort staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definately stay there again, but I would recommend booking your room through the resort itself and not through a real estate office. Booking through the resort (as friends of ours did) you have housekeeping, fresh towels daily and beds made for you. Through real estate (as we did) you get none of that. The bathrooms had 2 towels each and if we wanted clean ones, we had to wash them, and reuse them. Same with tea towels and dish cloths. Also, there were only a few hangers in each closet, so we had to go buy extra hangers as well. Not very convenient when there were 7 people in the condo. I feel it was overpriced for what we got. The resort itself was great!

We have stayed at Seawatch before and our family enjoyed the pools, hot tubs, and of course the beach. My boys (6 and 4) loved the turtle races held in the lazy river every day. It has a nice ocean view and was clean. Storage in the kitchen was tough. We wish there had been an empty cabinet to put dry food stuff but instead left it on the big deal but felt a little cluttered. Although we didn't use them there are some beach chairs, toys, and cooler for guest use which is nice. Location is great near Barefoot Landing and not really far from Broadyway at the Beach. Grocery store close as well as Walmart and the outlet stores. This is a nice unit for a small family an we would stay here again.

When we booked through North Beach Realty and were told that Gulf Front units were unavailable at this property, I specifically asked if the Gulf View units overlooked the pool area and was told that this unit did overlook the pool and that the view was "beautiful". Upon arriving, we found the view did not overlook the pool area, but rather was on the opposite side and overlooked a carport roof and two dumpsters from the neighboring property.

WE immediately contacted the propert group who refused to do anything to address our concerns. Would not offer a different unit or a unit in a different property.

Very disappointing.

The unit itself was clean, though the furniture and features were dated. Shower curtain was cheap and ripped at two hook locations. The kitchen areas was samll with not much cabinet space.

Additionally, the ON button and the UP channel button on the primary remote did not work well and the remote to the 2nd bedroom did not work.

Overall, the unit view was not what we were expecting (or agreed to over the phone with the agent) and he did nothing at all to address our concerns.

The general property itself was nice, and the pool areas were nice. We just wish we could have seen them from our small balcony.

We normally vacation in the Gulf, but thought this would be a nice year to try someplace new. Based on what we are accustomed to on the Gulf, this unit was overpriced and had a view that we never would have agreed to. We'd have looked elsewhere.
