Pier Watch II 302 - 2nd Row - Large Condo - Cherry Grove Section

This house is immaculate & very close to beach. Spacious house with room to spread out. Pillows were horrible and everyone had neck aches & I even went and bought a new pillow and took it home with me. The pier was still getting fixed so the fishers that came were pretty bummed. Now lets talk about the check in process. Its absolutely horrible. You have to go to a separate place to check in and get info on your room & its not convenient or practical. You need to go there at 4pm & then theirs a line of people all checking in & the employees working there are rude. We came 3:45 & got sent away & then had to get back in a line of people which is not fast moving by any means. As nice as the house is it would defiantly deter me from renting any house in the area that uses that rental service. I rent places every year for 12 yrs now and never has my vacation started out on such a wrong foot.

Our first trip to N Myrtle beach! The condo was great! It was clean, spacious, and great location to the beach. Management was friendly and responsive to queries.

The condo was exactly as it was described. This is our third condo we have stayed in at Pier Watch II. The view overlooking the marsh was great. We were not sure if we would like it better than the view of the ocean, but we did. Also much quieter on the marsh side.

We had a great experience at our Pier 11 location. The condo was realy nice Only problem is the microwave went out but called the rental company and a service tech came right out and installed a new one. Everything else was great. Place was clean and comfortable.

Everything was great, from the moment we reserved the home to checkout with some minor exceptions. The shower liners need to be changed, there were bugs but it did rain most of our time there. The pool was cloudy the entire time so we didn't get to enjoy it. The home itself was very accomodating and roomy.

Appliances, cookware, dishes were not clean, we had to clean these items b4 using and no lights work on the stove. Besides CLEANING ISSUES the place was VERY NICE.

Overall the rental was great. Clean and spacious. Only downside was that the elevator was not working for 3 of the 4 nights of our stay. We were there to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday and she really enjoyed it but opted to stay in rather than go anywhere because of the 50+ steps that she would have to climb to get back up to the unit. Even with that we still enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again (hopefully elevator will be working).

We were a group of 11. Upon initial entry the condo is beautiful. However, after a long drive we were disappointed to find that the sheets & quilts on every bed needed washing. I mean, long hairs, sand, crumbs. We had to run out and buy detergent and the machine has the longest cycles imaginable.

Upon going take showers, the liners were filthy. Blood, muddy, filthy. The tubs backed up with water during the shower.

That said, I called after hours and they came promptly to fix the shower drain. Somehow,by fixing the upstairs drains the downstairs drains got clogged. We called them back, and maintenance came promptly.

I should also note that our stay was Aug 23 - 27. A few days prior to our trip a saw a review from Aug 14 about bed bugs. I was very concerned and reached out to the property managers, Who offered very detailed accounts about what happen and how they resolved the issue. It should be noted that there were no bed bugs during our stay. However, there was the most giant bug I've ever seen (still don't know what it was), but it was isolated and handled quickly by my brother.

Overall, nice stay. I would offer that housekeeping is cutting corners. We found dirty dishes/flatware stored with clean. The bedding and shower curtain liner situations are just inexcusable. It may be a good idea to replace shower liners after each stay, they are $1 at the dollar store and offer a feeling of cleanliness that people expect when renting. Also, the bed protectors & pillows need cleaning. We were horrified when stripping the beds to wash the sheets and pillowcases. Also, a little attention to walls and baseboards may be due. It wasn't a major, but this would help keep the place from going down.

Again, nice place, beautiful decor, Great location. If housekeeping were better this would be an ideal location.

Unfortunately, there is only so much that can be done to prevent bed bugs. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention as soon as you found them in the unit. We also appreciate your cooperation with us on letting the pest control company in to access the property and we are glad to hear that you were otherwise satisfied with the property. After your departure, the unit has been professionally treated and has since been re-checked and there are no longer any signs of bed bugs in this unit.

My family and I along with my sister and her family as well as grandparents stayed at Pier Watch 2 Villa in the middle of July and had a great time. The place was very large and accommodating and very close to the beach. The place was clean and the only issue we had was the downstairs air condition stopped working. We called the emergency number they gave and they came right out to fix it! We enjoyed our stay and will likely stay here again!!

With 3 generations of family from 5 years to senior-retired, 10 of us had a great time at Pier Watch II. Clean, spacious, well equipped condo, close to the beach, and 2 pools to use. Would be glad to stay here again.

Overall, this condo was a great place to stay in Cherry Grove. It is very convenient as it was right across the street from the beach and the Cherry Grove pier. The actual condo/room was clean and updated with comfortable furnishings. The complex as a whole could use some work. The pool across the street at the other Pier Watch condos is in much better shape than the small one at Pier Watch II. Victoria at North Beach Realty was great to work with. The check-in process was very smooth. There was a bed that did not have clean sheets the first night we arrived and Victoria quickly resolved the issue. Overall, this trip was a great success!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the condo. It was newly updated and we had plenty of room for the 3 families that stayed. There isn't a lot within walking distance if you're looking for shops, but it's very close to the beach and North Myrtle Beach is a quieter location than by the boardwalk if you're looking for quiet.

We had a great stay at this unit, plenty of room for our large family and very reasonable price. We loved the location, close to grocery store and restaurants. The only problem we had was the washing machine malfunctioned and needed a new part to be fixed. We checked in on Saturday and the wasther wasn't fixed until Friday but we were compenstated fairly for the inconvenience and had the option to do our laundry at the realty company office. North Beach Realty was quick to respond when we needed them!!
