Ocean Creek Resort B4 - Oceanfront - Windy Hill

We had a fabulous stay here. It was easy access to the beach and a beautiful view. The inside was a bit outdated and there seemed to be different stations/systems on thr tvs available in each of the rooms but it was clean and and had the perfect amount of space for our family. There weren't a ton of cooking supplies, but we enjoyed dinner out each evening, so it wasn't a big deal.

Just the right size for a family of four. A very beach vibe. Definitely what we were looking for. Great to have a washer and dryer in the condo. Came in handy. Loved the large master bedroom/bathroom with a beautiful view of the inlet looking out to the beach and ocean beyond. Definitely would recommend.

Arrived a little early and was told by North Beach Realty the Ocean Creek Condo was ready. After arriving the 1st issue was the door lock. Very archaic, but after some help from a painter, entry finally gained. 2nd issue 6 out of the 8 lights in small bathroom were burned out. 1 in main BR. I called North Beach. They said they would send maintenance. They never arrived. Next morning I went to NBR. Their response..You mean no one came! I then added a 3rd issue. All 3 TV's had a very dark picture, barely viewable. I then told their Rep, that I was not going to wait all day for their service man to come. I requested he call me on my cell phone, and I gave her my number, because if I'm on the beach I want to meet him when he gets to the room. My wife & I went to the beach. I got NO PHONE CALL! When we got back to the Condo, he had come and replaced the bathroom bulbs with an assortment of bright and dim bulbs, with no two the same. None of the 3 TV's had been touched. All still very dark. Each time I had dealt with the same Customer Rep at NBR. To say she was NOT Consumer Friendly would be an understatement. We liked the location of the Condo at Ocean Creek, and it was very clean, and in a quiet section of North Myrtle. Most of the people we met were like us, senior citizens and very friendly. I guess this rental experience was a trade off. Oceanfront, quiet location, met some nice people and can now see in the bathroom. However watching TV is a real challenge!

Overall, great location very private. But terribly manage. Dirty when we checked in, Garbage chute backed up the entire time, garbage cans by the elevators completely for the whole time.

The condo was convenient to the beach and we love its across the street from the barefoot landing . The condo was a little outdated . It could definitely use some updating. We would stay here again . It was clean and had everything we needed.

This was our first time to the area. Ocean Creek is close to everything, but without the hassle of the super touristy areas. The unit is kind of dated, but it worked for our week of family vacation. I chose this rental for the option of an indoor pool in case of bad weather during our stay. We did use it, however the indoor pool is in a different building on the OC property. We really enjoyed watching the water levels change and wildlife playing in the channel from the balcony. Since this is at the end of a row of buildings, the beach wasn't crowded like farther down the strip. Great location if you have a family or want a quieter, more relaxing time. All of the workers on the OC property were very nice. The Barefoot Landing across the main street is definitely something to check out! Shops for everyone- from food to souvenirs to treats to entertainment!

The unit was ok. The furniture needs updating, the showers, well pretty much everything. Bed not comfortable. The view is what you’re getting here! It’s beautiful!

Easy check in process. Unit was clean and, thankfully, no smoke smell. There were some minor maintenance issues that were resolved almost as quickly as we reported them. Listing was accurate. Bed was comfortable. Shower was great. The only thing I would've changed about the unit was the dark green carpet. No issues except figuring out how to lock the door when leaving... We figured it out on Thursday.
