This place is wonderful for the space as well as the aminities - hot tub, indoor pool, outdoor lazy river. Our work team was very pleased with the beautiful view as well as the nicely equipped condo.

The condo was very clean, we were a family of 10 and there was plenty of room for all. We were there for an Elvis festival. The view of the ocean was fantastic, beautiful pictures of sunrises and sunsets were taken. North Beach Realty was awesome. On the first morning we noticed the door on the microwave was broken. I called to report it (just so they knew we didn't do it) and within an hour of my phone call a new microwave was brought to us. We went to the pool, but with the cold weather the kids didn't want to go in, but I really wish we could have used the lazy river. We will be back hopefully next year for the Elvis Festival. Thank you again North Beach Realty you helped make our 4 day family stay enjoyable.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay at Malibu Pointe. The condo was roomy that accommodated our family well. The kitchen was equipped with appliances and cookware and utensils. The laundry was convenient. We were able to enjoy the ocean view and enjoy sunrise and sunsets from the balcony. I wish they had a outdoor pool but other than that our vacation was fabulous!

Location is great if you like a crowded beach. Unit sits directly across from public beach access. Older building but functional. Pools were clean. Elevators were quick. Unit has great view of the ocean. Everything in the unit was fine except for the beds and couches. Mattresses are extremely hard and uncomfortable especially the master. Owner should seriously consider upgrading mattresses and living room couches. We would not rent this unit again simply because of how uncomfortable the beds were.

Arrival went great, getting the keys and checking in was easy and the staff was amazing. The condo itself was very clean! We were impressed! There were minor things, like a hole in a chair but no big deal whatsoever. Plenty of space for our family of 9, and not too far of a walk to the beach. The pools were nice, and the guy who was working there was super kind too. You could tell he likes his job! Overall it was a wonderful stay, if we choose to come back to North Myrtle, we will stay here again. Will definitely be renting from the company itself and not a 3rd party site though!

I was pleased with the condition of the unit. Clean except the floor made our feet super black. Would have loved to mop it. Decor was a bit outdated but in good condition. We had four couples, so bigger beds would have been more pleasant. Location to beach, restaurants & shopping was great. The pool areas were great also and well maintained. I was impressed by the response for a key request & the cleaning staff that came immediately to inspect unit 901 Malibu Pointe & ensure the cleanliness of the unit. I can’t remember their names but kudos to those two ladies working hard.

There were a few things that could have been better:
1. The Wifi went in and out the entire time
2. The floors were filthy, our socks were black before we could walk the unit down.
3. The Dryer was full of sand and lint
4. The curtains were falling off the ceiling in the Living room.
5. The 2nd bedroom bath sink was clogged
6. There was only one roll of tissue
7. There was only one roll of paper towels
8. The king size bed sink in the center
9. The sofas need to be re-cushioned
10. The front of the unit was either too hot or cold, so that the back of the unit was comfortable
11. There is NOT any street parking as indicated in the documents. A 10 people unit should have more than two spaces.

House was in a wonderful area, walking distance to the beach. House easily fit our family of 8. House was spacious and comfortable. I think the house could have used a better cleaning and there were rough patches on the ceiling in the master bath, one where the shower head(sprayed all over the place) sprayed in that area. My major complaint would be that the cleaning people came at 8am when checkout is 10am. They knocked once and walked in. My husband didn’t even have a chance to get to the door. They knew we were still in and out too. Otherwise great place to stay after we cleaned the house up! We had 2 small issues during our stay, bathroom lights were out in one of the bathrooms and the balcony door handle was broken. They fixed them quickly!

We would stay here again! We had a large extended family split between 2 units. Our unit had 2 adults, 4 young adults/teens and 4 younger kids. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Very comfortable mattresses. Plenty of bath towels and washcloths. Always a win when you can keep up with laundry!
Great location and an easy walk to the beach with the younger kids. The kids enjoyed the pool and lazy river when they were tired of the sand. We enjoyed our evenings on the balcony and the jacuzzi tub! Only suggestion I made when we checked out was that the coffee maker be fixed or replaced. We added a full pot of water and less than half was made. We always bring our own electric knife sharpener (never have enough sharpened knives) and skillet. Other than that, kitchen amenities were good. Highly recommend and looking forward to another stay.

Condo was just like pictured. We were a family of 8 and slept comfortably. We did have some issues that we remedied ourselves because of the holidays. We ran the dishwasher and it overflowed. The toilet in one of the restrooms did not flush well and the jet tub in the master did not work. No biggie and we dealt with it. Maintenance came and fixed everything the day after Christmas.

Your description and photos made selecting a unit very easy. Our 3 sons were able to bring spouses and enjoy their own bedroom with bath. Easy beach access and ample parking at this time of the year. Unit was missing condiments but otherwise well equipped. Wifi not working but was able to access other sources.

The property was in a terrific location and the high floor gives plenty of opportunity for ocean viewing, without being ocean front. Site is well maintained and offered plenty of space for our annual 'couples' weekend'. Interior decoration is a bit dated, but didn't lessen a wonderful experience. Short walk to the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. Floor could be cleaner, but otherwise very well maintained! Check-in (and out) was a breeze, with the management company just a few blocks away. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the property to anyone with large groups!

This is an inexpensive rental and well worth it. With four bedrooms and four ensuite bathrooms it was quite spacious. Being second row there's hardly any difference from oceanfront. We booked with Northbeach Realty who were as always prompt and attentive to any issue we had.

We had 4 guys on a golf trip and like staying in Condos or houses. Was a perfect place for us everyone having their own bathroom and plenty of space. Maintenance guy was there fixing cable box when we arrived. He was super nice gave us his phone number and let us know he'd be the one on call for our stay and if we needed anything to just give him a call. Very nice people in the realty office where we picked the keys up as well.

Went to Myrtle Beach to watch my niece in a Softball Tournament she plays for UIC my sister and my other nieces flew in from San Diego Ca. I wanted to be able for all of us to stay in one place so we could spend as much time as possible together since we don't have to opportunity to see one another to often. This condo was perfect it has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms spacious kitchen met all our needs.

We love to stay in this unit each year. Our family continues to grow and make memories in this same condo. The kitchen is well-supplied and equipped. There is a washer and a dryer in the unit. The bedrooms are configured for a larger family. Beach access is an easy walk. The lazy river, pools, and hot tub provide fun on rainy days. We see many years ahead of good times in this Malibu Pointe rental.

It was nice to have 4 bathrooms for 4 guys. The main living area is fine not sure why they don't put knobs on the kitchen cabinets though? The bedrooms were dated they could use a freshening up. I did enjoy the very hot hottub. You could through a few young kids in the indoor pool but and adult couldn't swim in it. It's okay for the money if you're not looking anything special. A backhanded compliment but it is what it is.

We enjoyed home-cooked meals, relaxed on the beach or in the room, played with the kids, swam in the pools and lazy river, and did a variety of activities in the area. Malibu Pointe is a beautiful place. We stayed in 901. Corner unit has views all around but this particular unit has a n obstructed view directly in front. The unit itself is beautiful and nicely furnished. 2 sets of twin beds are great for kids but not so much for grown men. Kitchen had everythin we needed to have thanksgiving for ten. Lots of room too.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Malibu Pointe. The unit was very spacious and quiet. We had a wonderful ocean view with great beach access. The pools and hot tub were nice as well. You'll need to take your own pool towels, they aren't provided. If you want to take walks on the street, it's in an area of mostly condos, but that makes it quiet as well. We enjoyed our family time there very much. We felt quite safe there. Property management is not on site, which would have been more convenient if they had been.

The unit was a very convenient. You have a condo unit in front of you, but the 9th floor of Malibu Pointe is taller so you still get a limited view of the ocean! The pools were nice and a relaxing break when the kids still wanted water but you didn't want to be as vigilant (a little too much chemicals for my taste). Easy access to the beach, restaurant, & ice cream. There was a power outage while we were there - bldg management was right on top of it and got generators going. Overall, a good stay.
Room for Improvement: The unit was well equipped but not as spotless as I would like. It's a vacation hot spot so it gets a lot of use and it shows. The whole condo smelled of "fish" when we arrived. Time to invest in some new mattresses and bedding. The comforters were stained and had "hair" in them (yuk) and the sheets on the twins kept coming off. Our feet/socks got black from walking around (don't know if it was the tile or carpet), but we purchased Lysol and mopped the tiled floors.

This is our 2nd year at the property and we absolutely love it. 4 bathrooms are convenient with 4 guys and we each had our own bedroom. Although we only golfed this time, the beach is steps away from the property and still a great view from the balcony. Very spacious with flat panel TV's in each room. Customer service is amazing. We were treated very well by representative, Victoria Vidmar and already booked for the same week next year. I highly recommend them.

We loved the condo! The bedrooms not being so close to each other was great because we had little ones who didn't wake us older folks! The location was awesome. We ate at the little bar across the street a couple of times and the food was great. The grocery store was close and liked having the beach store next to our building. The condo was spacious and clean. The only thing was we weren't sure where to put our garbage. I asked someone on the elevator and they told us about the garbage chute. Where would you put anything other than bags? Like a broken beach chair? Some of the other guests would hold the elevator up and you would wait sometimes 10 minutes for it. But I know this is beyond your control! Overall we had a wonderful stay and will probably rent the room again soon!

Arrived in myrtle beach at 2:00 pm. Stopped by the very easy to find travel agency to see if unit was ready and it was. The condo was close to rental agency. We are always anxious to see if the condos are to our expectations and this one was beyond. The unit was super large, updated, and very clean. It was across the street from the beach. The views from the balcony were beautiful. The pool area although covered was great for my grandchildren to avoid the hot sun. The security in the building was a pain because you needed a key to enter every gate and door. We were only given 2 keys and there was 3 families. The resturant Molly Darcy's had great food and a nice patio on the ocean. I would recommend this condo and realty office.

We were in town for a conference. I was with a group of 6. This vacation rental was perfect. It provided each team member a separate bed. There were 4 bathrooms, which helped when everyone was trying to get ready at the same time. Having wireless Internet was very important for us to be able to work while at the condo. Additionally, the stocked kitchen helped us be able to prepare breakfast before leaving for the conference sessions and pack lunches to take with us. The kitchen table set up was the perfect work space, and the living room area was a great place to relax at night. Our conference was at Kingston Plantation. The condo was just the perfect distance away, and traffic was never a problem getting to and from the conference. Parking at the condo wasn't an issue either. The condo was a perfect distance from downtown North Myrtle Beach and provided quick access to restaurants at night. Being just across the street from the beach provided quick access to relaxation on the beach after the conference, too. Overall, it was the perfect place in every way.

The place was great! This was our Mancation 2013, 6 dudes just living it up. Mollys right across the way was the best spot, unless you go all the way to Broadway which is a $40 cab ride each way. Its a little out of the way as far as location from what you would consider Myrtle Beach. We preferred this part of the beach though as it was not too overly crowded.

Great location, spacious 4 bedroom condo with plenty of space. The only thing I would let people know, while they do have an outdoor pool/lazy river, it is covered so the pool/river are not in the sun at all. There are however chairs around pool area that are in sun. But overall a very nice condo with a beautiful beach view from the balcony. Only about 4 miles from Barefoot Landing.

I did look into this and found that the work order and the repairmans invoice was for "washer not working" invoice notes: inner frame at motor mount snagged on locking pin mount- Freed, ran thru cycles, all was working. I have had several reservations since your stay and all has been well making us believe the correct appliance was fixed. Thank you for your comments

Malibu Pointe U 901 will be a beautiful memory for my family and I. My mother had recently retired and wanted to go to the ocean with her immediate family; our experience at the Condo was phenomal. The unit location was great and quite large. The building, elevators,pool and hot tub could use a little cleaning and updating. The unit needs a few more pots,pans,dishes and serve ware. We would stay in the unit again but possibly bring additional supplies. The management rep was excellent very friendly and quite helpful.

This was our third year in this unit. It is a perfect fit for our needs as a golf group. Oven seemed a bit slow and the icemaker was turned off, but other than that everything was perfect. We checked in and out when the office wasn't open so we never met the staff. However, the online process was good. It would have been nice to know that we were about 30-40 miles north of the airport. When driving in we were confused with 17th Avenue in
SMB, then in MB, and finally in NMB. Never been there before, we didn't realize there were the different cities so it took us a little longer to find the office. The condo was very clean, however, it would have been nice to have the glass on the balcony cleaned.
I'm sure this is not an easy thing to keep clean. Our overall stay was well above our expectations and we had a wonderful time. We will recommend this location to anyone who is going to vacation in the area.

We really enjoyed our week in Myrtle Beach. We found it clean for the most part and quiet. The only things that I thought we should mention to you are:
Needs new shower curtain in Bedroom #2. The one that is in there has mold growing on it.
The pool table was missing balls and the sticks were broken.
The elevator had a horrific smell. I guess that is why the carpets were ripped up.

We traveled to Myrtle Beach in a 15 passanger van. The only place we could park was poolside. Often, small minivans would be parked in these spots. These minivans would fit in the garage parking perfectly. This poolside area should be specifically marked for overside vehicles. This would certainly help future guests find adequate parking.
Some really good points about the unit.
The unit was tastefully decorated.
Lots of storage space.
Big kitchen (where we cooked 3 meals a day)Kitchen was well equipped.
Bathrooms for each bedroom
TV in each bedroom

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The only negatives were the parking garage, if you don"t have a compact car you're very limited as to where to park, and also the living room furniture wasn't very comfortable. We needed some light bulbs replaced and they sent someone over very quickly. The location was great and the price was right. We would consider staying here again.

We were pleasantly surprised with our unit. We knew we were second row, but we had a great view of the beach. Everything inside the unit was exactly as pictured.

Plus it was a short, easy walk to the beach and the building is located within a fairly short drive to all the places we wanted to go to.

The only complaint we had was that the elevator smelled bad...

We had a blast! The condo was so beautiful! There was an issue w/ the ice not workin in the fridge door, the light didn't work well in the double bedroom, the couch was a little smelly and the sheets did not stay on some of the beds. Sheet holders would work well but they were not provided or offered. It was hard to get a hold of anyone to assist since we arrived on Saturday and no one came to fix the fridge until Tuesday. The final thing was that the elevator did not work for the last 3 days of the trip which was a pain but all in all it was a wonderful place to stay. Like I said, mostly good then bad but nothing is ever perfect! :) I would recommend this condo to anyone because of the view and how beautiful it was! It was totally a 95 out of 100!!!!

The condo is quite spacious, clean, and seemed to be well kept. The lamp in one bedroom did not work and it was not the handicapped accessible condo we rented but we were able use some portable suction rails to help my elderly parents. Overall, condo was very nice and the ocean view was good for 2nd row, just not what we rented. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving at the beach and recommend this condo highly.

This is our second year in the same unit. Lots of room, very clean and fully equiped. Management team helpful. Convenient key pickup and dropoff.

The staff at North Beach Realty are exemplary. They go above and beyond what most companies offer.
Our only advice for anyone vacationing at Malibu Pointe: There is limited parking if you are bringing a custom van.

We brought 10 people with us on this extended family vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone and really had a "home" atmosphere. The only caution I'd give is that the doors aren't very heavy and when opening from the inside, even if it's been locked, the lock undoes automatically and lets you out. My 21 month old was a pro at this. The owner/rental property needs to place a chain lock much higher to prevent small children from leaving. In the storage area assigned to the condo was well stocked with beach gear which was a wonderful surprise. All in all, a great place to stay!
