Crescent Keyes PH16 - Oceanfront - Crescent Beach Section

I’m giving it a four for the condition of the property because the indoor pool was closed the whole time I was there. I usually do Aquafit in the pool every morning, but was unable to do so and my grandchildren love the indoor pool because the outdoor one and lazy river are not heated. For the rest, we had a great time and I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and the condo. However, the condo was so dirty when we got there, we had to clean first thing. NOT GOOD. The condo also needs a lot of repairs. Kitchen cabinets need to be repaired, sliding glass doors are nearly impossible to open, and the guest bathroom had no hot water.

I had not planned to write a review but I got so many prompts to do this that I thought I would.

Positives:
Proximity to other activities
Pool and Lazy River were nice
Easy beach access
Building was safe, clean and easy to access
Check in and out was simple

Negatives:

Floor was filthy. My daughters feet turned black after walking on it for 2 minutes.

The door would not unlock when we first arrived. When we called the office they were a bit condescending when troubleshooting then sent someone out. He also could not open the door then left and said someone would call from the rental company. No one called for 30 minutes then I called the company and was told they were sending someone else out. This person had lock lube and that allowed the key to turn. The rest of the trip the key was a struggle and sometimes took 2 to 3 minutes to open the door. We waited to get in to our room for an hour while waiting outside with a 6 month old and 5 year old. Was not the ideal start to our vacation.

The parking garage has a clearance of 6 foot 8 inches. This was not shared in any of the material prior to arriving to the rental after picking up the keys. My car could not fit in the garage with the beach stuff packed on top. This made loading and unloading more difficult than it should have been.

The unit was absolutely beautiful with an ocean view that was breathtaking. The short walk to the beach was a big plus. However, a few things could have been improved. The balcony furniture was in desperate need of replacements. The kitchen cabinets were in bad need of repair. Some of the doors fell off if you opened a drawer or the cabinet. The bedding was adequate and certainly appreciatd the number of beds available. Now if they could work on the cleanliness of the unit it would make the stay a little more comfortable. Dust was absolutely everywhere. Turning on lamps was disgusting and even the dresser tops were extremely dusty, and all of the light fixtures were hanging with dust. There were piles of sand in the master closet. Such a beautiful beach and I want to go back. I would also love to go back to this unit, but I will give it some consideration after I read other reviews after this.

We have stayed here for the last 2 years very family friendly place! Lots of thing for the children to do! The condo was beautifully set up and it was very spacious for our mother to get around in her wheelchair!

This was our first experience at Crescent Keyes and we thoroughly enjoyed all this resort had to offer. The building is very well maintained, close by to all amenities and very quiet. The unit PH16 has a well-equipped kitchen and fabulous ocean views. The unit was very clean. In our opinion, this unit needs to be upgraded. Master bedroom bed was very uncomfortable and mattresses in other rooms should probably be replaced. The cheap covering on the kitchen and other cupboards has become unglued and was held together with tape during our 4 month stay. The dishwasher is rusted and quite temperamental. The dining room chairs are very low and we needed cushions to sit on in order to be at the proper height to reach the table....we are 2 adults of average height...5’10 and 5’6. We experienced 2 problems while we were there.....the TV and Refrigerator and both were replaced in no time. We have been renting from North Beach Realty for quite a few years and continue to work with Victoria for future rentals. Thank you Victoria for your kindness...you are special.

The week was great, the property could use a deep clean as the unit wasn't properly cleaned before our visit. A call to the owner resolved this issue which helps.

The property in general needed some work. There was some visible mold on the outside of the elevator and one of the three elevators was broken for the last 5 days of the trip. One of the lazy rivers was closed the entire trip due to a leak. This is not to complain, but to inform that the property in general was not in top tier shape.

The lobby was cleaned daily and the pools were very well maintained.

The bed mattresses were fine, but probably a little past their prime.

The kitchen was great and very well stocked.

Beautiful location. When I went to p/u keys at 3:45 the real estate appears to want you to wait until the dot of 4:00 before giving them to you. If the unit is ready why can't they call you to come in and get them. I would think its better for them instead of everyone bombarding them at 4:00 o'clock.

Awesome Views of the Beach and Ocean from the Deck. Sheets and Towels provided. Spacious seating and dining area. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Just a few negatives. The floors and counter upon arrival were not very clean. The TV remote was not working properly. The pool area had limited lounge chairs. I would recommend staying here!

I will never rent from North Beach realty ever again! They charged me $20 per rubber wrist band for the pool. They never verbally told me they needed to be returned and have it in the fine print of a 20 page document that I signed. Both my husband and I have masters degrees and didn't see it. They gave me and my husband 8 bands. Who does that. The so called resort had two pools, one under maintenance and they NEVER asked to see a band. This soured the whole experience.
