"I know the management group doesn't have control over this but the staff at the hotel especially the cleaning staff were not professional. On the day that we checked in, we had to wait over an hour to get a parking pass and the additional 30 minutes for an elevator. One of the cleaning staff that was waiting after us actually jumped in line and took the elevator from us.

The floor of the unit was very dirty and there was underwear behind the dresser in the bedroom. Also, the owners of the unit have the closets very full with their own items so they were hard to have use. The furniture is not as pictured. Two living room chairs were leaning backwards and almost broken. The curtains were missing hooks in all rooms. Just not as pictured. Due to mask mandate, property management staff should be wearing masks at the desk in the office. "

"The location was directly on the ocean and pier. Just a short elevator ride then your toes are in the sand! The condo was clean and beautiful. The large windows and balcony gave us the opportunity to gaze at the ocean for hours! Kitchen was stocked except no large skillet, but we made due. The king bed needs replacement but the foam topper helps. Queen room definitely needs a ceiling fan. If these were updated, there would be nothing wrong with this beautiful stay! "

"When we arrive security was chasing down someone.
Later that day 3-4 police cars there.
Seem to be partying going on. Young guy got on elevator and stated he had kegs and liquor in his room to some other people come on up to party.
Condo was out of date. P"

"Our vacation rental was amazing! Nice decor, INCREDIBLE view, very clean and adequately stocked with everything guests need for their stay. And the garden tub in the master bathroom? Worth staying for without any of the other great things offered!!! My only one small complaint was the comfort level of the bed in the master bedroom. It was so uncomfortable that we slept in the second bedroom for our stay, but that did not deter from our stay."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at 1109 Prince Resort. The view from this condo was AMAZING and I loved the convenience of the pier and amenities within the pier.
I do have a couple of complaints that may not even be controlled and did not deter us from having a phenomenal week.
1. The smell was bad when you first walked in the condo. It's something we got used to once inside for a few minutes but as soon as we left and came back the smell was evident again.
2. The elevator situation was a nightmare Sat, Sun, and Fri but I think that is par for the course on check in and check out days.
3. The floors were not clean as clean as I would have liked. The bottoms of our feet were dirty if we walked around without shoes or socks on.
All in all it was a great week and I would stay here again despite the few issues I had. "

"What a great way to experience the beauty of nature. Looking at the vast ocean, hearing its roar gives you a tranquil feeling. The only occ. problem we encountered was a terrible smell in the corridor between the rooms an the hallway into the kitchen. Not always just sometimes. Smelled like sewage. We made the realty co. aware of this and they said other customers said the same thing. They were looking into it and made the HOA aware also. By now it may be rectified. We did go during Harley week so it was a bit noisy. All in all it was great."

"This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The view of the ocean from nearly every room was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean and well maintained. It was great to have restaurants readily available. I didn't realize that the lazy river was in another building across the street but we didn't use it much anyway. Great vacation. I hope to return next year!"

"The condo had wonderful views from both rooms and it was nice and clean. Well equipped kitchen and we loved the onsite restaurant. The parking was a bit confusing when we first arrived but it was nice not having to check-in. I did get stuck in the tower elevator, but the fire department arrived promptly and opened the door. It happens. Overall, lovely place and you can't beat the views!"

"This was our first time staying in an apartment/condo, but we would do it again in a heartbeat! As compared to a hotel room, the extra space made all the difference. And the laundry in the condo was terrific-I didn't have to haul dirty clothes home. The pool was kept clean and the restaurant on the pier was wonderful!"

"The condo was really nice and just as pictured online. I love that it was a corner unit so it had more privacy. It was clean for the most part other than some minor sand in places, but it is the beach. The only thing that I can say is that there was a pungent sewer smell off and on in the unit throughout our entire stay. We never could determine where it was coming from or if it was even from that particular unit or not. We did inform the North Beach Realty staff know about the smell in hopes that they can correct the issue before the next guest. Overall, it was a very nice place, and the weather was great as well! I would actually stay here again in the future. "

"While the staff at the realestate company was very nice, they were aware of issues with the unit and did not disclose them to us. The unit smelled like sewage the entire week. We called to complain and someone came with sani sticks and dish soap. He left them by the door for me to handle. That did not help si days later he came back with bleach and lemon spray. Said ge would be back, left everything on the counter never showed up never called. Finally, after five days I talked to Victoria and she was able to return some of the money we paid and she extremely kind but our first vacation in 12 years was less than great! The resort was kind of dirty and dated, not enough parking to accomidate the renters the pool was way too small for all the renters and the peir thats one of the selling points was an additional charge. So while it was nice to get away from home but dealing with old dirty areas that smell like sewage wasnt worth the drive and costs."

"The first thing noticed walking into room was drapes were hanging off the hooks. Why not fix before the next guest?! I could write my name in the dust so thick on top of the wall mounted hair dryer in master bath. Master bedroom mattress was HORRIBLE!!! Mold around master tub. Living room furniture not comfortable for sitting. Parking deck across street an inconvenience. Poolside furniture very uncomfortable and no tables at poolside for sitting. Location of hotel in Cherry Grove was nice! I would not stay here again."

"Rental Staff was amazing! I would definitely recommend a car rental for the drive down to Mrytle Beach and attractions. I am glad we stayed in North Mrytle Beach rather then Mrytle Beach much less noise and congestion and beaches were BEAUTIFUL!"

"Enjoyed our October stay at the Prince Resort . The unit we stayed in on the 11th floor had a great view . The beach bar restaurant had a nice staff and the food was good . Unfortunately we did not try the restaurant inside of the Prince . The unit was spacious enough for 4 adults with plenty of seating . I especially enjoyed the oversized bathrooms . Would definitely consider staying at the Prince Resort again . "

"This is a great place that is very clean and has such a beautiful view of the ocean. We really enjoyed our time there. There were people next door who played music really loud at night past midnight and the cleanliness if the rest of the building is not the same but I guess those units are owned by the hotel. "The rental office was clean and inviting, friendly, prompt customer service upon arrival. Unit was wonderful! Clean, bright, open, appropriate furnishings and kitchen ware. Great place for families! "This condo was a great find. We found less expensive options but this one looked a step above. And it was. The owners struck a perfect balance between being very nice yet very comfortable. The views are great. The accomodations were wonderful. And the location... we were there during spring break so we expected the worst. The location was wonderful. Not overcrowded. Yet close to some nice restaurants in N Myrtle Beach. Highly recommend and hope to stay there again in the future."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Prince Resort and felt like the accommodations were top notch. The room was exactly as described in pictures, including the amazing view!

A few tidbits of knowledge:

Parking is across the street. We used the parking at the hotel for unloading, loading and pick up. The gravel lot was close and easy to access; however, if you have to park in the garage, be prepared for a hike up stairs (for those who may have mobility issues).

It was a little bit of a pain having to take the keys back to the office on check out instead of being able to leave them there. And if you lose your key card it's a hefty fine!

We did not use the amenities (because it was pretty cold) but they looked like they were in good shape!"

"This unit is gorgeous inside with beautiful views outside of the ocean and beach! The management company was very friendly and easy to work with! We go to Myrtle Beach often and would rent this unit again. You do have to park in the parking garage across the street so make sure you're okay with that but it's really not much of an issue. There is a public parking lot (free) right across the street, too, and you can park there during the day which makes it a little easier to get to your car versus going into the garage. You are a bit far up to walk to any of the restaurants/bars but you have a full kitchen and restaurant on site so there's really no reason to leave. "

"Location of the rental was very nice, and was quiet. Overall we would stay here again, however, the owners need to make a few updates. Carpet was stained, and furniture was not in the best condition. Mattresses need replaced (about 3-4 seasons ago). We pd for linen service and found it refreshing that the rental co. had already placed the sheets on the beds and plenty of towels in the bathrooms."

"Unless you MUST have oceanfront, I'd recommend the adjacent building across the street. Parking is non-existent, and the pool area is overcrowded. Also, be prepared to bring EVERYTHING to support a household. Short of cooking utensils and dinnerware, there is nothing in the unit."

"We are just starting our 4th month of a four month stay in this unit. We have just booked it for 4 months next winter, so that pretty much tells you how we feel about the unit. Being a corner unit the views are spectacular. There are minor things we could nit pik about the unit but they are all very minor. Is the unit clean, yes. Spotless no. The unit does show some signs of it's age, but not so much that it is an issue. Being here for 4 months the internet connection is very important, and it is excellent, plenty of bandwidth. Decent number of channels on the cable TV. Victoria at North Beach realty has been very attentive of anything we asked. We have been fortunate in that there has been very little noise from the units around us, due in part to solid construction of the building. They have a very large crew here maintaining the building, and it is well kept up. It was not our intention to come to SC next winter, but like it says in the title, we like this place so much we are coming back."

Front desk at prince resort was snotty because I had not booked with them. Some front desk clerks were rude but had a nice one also.
Mattress in master king bed was busted. The springs were crushed and sent you toward the floor all night. Couldn't wait to get back in my own bed. That was the worst because you couldn't get a good night sleep in the beautiful condo.

"We went to North Myrtle Beach for my husbands work. We selected this resort last minute based on price and location. Everything was fine during the stay - my son loved being on the Pier where he could fish and my daughter liked that we were right on the beach. The only issue was the management company was not on site and it was a hassle to check in/out. At check in, it took us a while to find the management company office. At check out, you have to drive out of the way to return the keys and pool bracelets. In the future, I will only book directly through the resorts to avoid the hassle with checking in and out at an offsite location."

"Overall, our stay was fairly nice. The condo is in a great up and coming area, minutes away from restaurants activities. The cleaning prior to our arrival could have been more thorough. I assume everyone is paying a similar fee for cleaning, yet this was not necessarily reflected when we arrived (mildew in master shower,stains on carpet & furniture). The only other opportunity we found is that North Beach Reality should utilize a drop box on site for check out to avoid having to drive to a separate location before traveling out of town. Again, the location, size and layout were great. We would definitely consider staying again."

"The property's location was excellent, but I did call and complain about the mattresses in the condo and the realtor assured me that the mattress had been ordered. The actual springs were showing through on our bed. I think it is a disgrace for the owner's to pay so much for such a beautiful condo and then just let it go for so long by such a simple yet such an important part of a person's vacation is getting their rest. This was my family's first vacation together in 8 years and we did not get much rest and relaxation. "

"Unit is well designed with great views. It's as good as being on the beach. We loved the views.

Here are some suggested improvements:
1. The mattresses are way past their useful life. Not comfortable at all. Makes loud screeching sounds. Time to replace them with new and comfortable ones
2. Sheets may not have been cleaned. We have brought our own so didn't bother us, but how about professional cleaning before renting it out?
3. The front door doesn't shut properly. Had to force it to close. And many more such minor nuisances that puts it on par with a cheap motel.

In other words it's not a Hilton resort but with a little effort on proper maintenance it could have been much better.

I worked with Victoria for reservation - she was very courteous and responsive."

"Great views, plenty of light from abundant windows, well maintained with a few items needing attention. The mattress and box spring in the master bedroom are long overdue for replacement. They are deeply indented where people lie and emit a loud squeaking noise when either person enters or leaves; loud enough to wake the other person. They are very uncomfortable and as a previous guest said "are like sleeping on wadded up paper" The two chairs in the living room area are warn, dirty and extremely uncomfortable and need to be replaced. The mixing valve on the kitchen sink needs repair or replacement as it allows too much cold water in the mix and makes for water not hot enough to wash dishes. Every other faucet in the condo has lots of hot water as does the dishwasher on the same line. The steel front condo door binds on the top jam and requires a vigorous push or pull to open or close, so much so that if not pulled\pushed strongly will fail to latch or lock. The master bath tub could use a grab handle before someone slips and falls. The kitchen pots and pans are badly worn and very cheap in quality. In all other respects, the condo is very good with lots of towels, cutlery, etc. We would willingly consider returning if these issues were addressed and would recommend it to others."

"The condo was very roomy and very well equipped. the location was perfect for us - away from areas that are often congested. We had our 3 year old granddaughter with us and it was a great experience for her. The pools, the beach, the pier - everything provided a great relaxing experience. My only criticism - the carpet needs cleaning."

"Prince Resort was a little outdated. Sometimes the gentlemen downstairs opened the doors for you, sometimes they didn't. The wait for the elevators did get tiring quickly but the room was nice and the view was spectacular. Location in North Myrtle beach with the pier was perfect. "

"This corner unit is beautiflly situated with views from every window. The master had great views and direct access to the balcony. Having the pier at your doorstep was great as we took the opportunity to do some fishing. The restaurant at the pier has very friendly and attentive staff. (Ask for Ryan as your server.)
Overall the condo was in good shape and the furnishings were nice. The beds, however, have seen wear, and are very noisy -- crunches like wadded paper when you move on them. The pillows, sheets, cases, all have started showing their age/use. The extra pillows which were in the closet and the chests did not seem to have clean pillow cases on them. Not sure if housekeeping overlooked changing them out from the previous guests,
The closet containing the stacked washer and dryer was extremely dirty. Lots of lint, dust, and hair on the floor of the closet. The top of the fridge was caked with dust and lint.
Other things that caused minor annoyance was that there were no dishwashing sponges, no extra roll of toilet paper or detergent for the dishwasher, other than one single use packet. We purchased what we needed from a local grocery store, but had to buy 12 packs of toilet paper and paper towels as they were not sold individually.
The cookware (pots/pans) were fine, except many of the utensils are quite worn and need replacing.
Overall, the unit is nice. You cannot beat the view and the location. I would definitely stay there again if issues mentioned above were addressed."

"We loved the location of the condo. The condo was cute and clean. However, the sofa was worn out the bar hit the back of your knees. A couple of the outlets didn't work. The toilet in the master bath ran unless you jiggled the handle. My biggest concern is the lack of security. My husband left the key in the room, went down to the lobby and they said they'd send someone up to open the door. The guy came up and opened the door without asking for anytype of ID. I was waiting at the elevator and a couple's key wasn't working. A maintenance person unlocked the unit with his master key without asking for ID. Granted I live in a populated area so I'm more concerned about security, but it would be nice to know that someone with a master key would check id before allowing someone to enter a condo."

"Prince Resort, is a place you'll return time & time again; its clean, friendly, receptive and, most important a great view of the ocean. I came to relax...and that I did. All of the people at North Beach Realty were kind and, helpful with the exception of Victora...whom I felt was a little cold and not very friendly. "Will never stay at the Prince Resort again. We checked out a day early and lost the money just to get out and not deal with the stuffy hot and dirty elevators again. The pools were dirty and the view from our room was beautiful but would have been much better if the windows weren't so dirty and the sliding glass door was dirty as well. Our room was clean and pretty comfortable. My opinion of North Beach Realty is not that good. We go in and we weren't greeted in a nice way or said welcome. After we checked in we weren't told enjoy your stay. When we checked out a day early we weren't asked why or how are stay was or were we even thanked for our business. I am assuming once they have your money that is the end of what they care about. In my opinion if you depend on customers to keep a business open and you don't even care how there stay is then I will be booking with some other business that does care. "

"Our vacation was perfect. The resort was beautiful. the location was close to everything and the kids had a blast in the pools, fishing on Cherry Grove Pier and playing on the beach. I would recommend this to all my friends. We will be back again. "
