3 Reasons to Plan your Spring Break Vacation Today

Spring will be here before you know it, which means it will be more time to spend outdoors in the warm sun. Spring break will be here soon and it’s time to start planning for the fun. Staying in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will keep you and your family close to the fun and action of the beach. Let’s look below at three reasons why you should plan your spring break vacation today.

Warm Weather & Fewer Crowds

3 Reasons to Plan your Spring Break Vacation Today

One of the best things about vacationing to North Myrtle Beach during the springtime is the weather is fantastic. While it won’t be as warm as it is compared to the summer months, you can still sit on the beach and enjoy many things. Some of the fun things you can want are the pools and the waves; even though they may be a little chilly, it’s nothing like snow and ice you may have now. The crowd levels will be less, too, compared to our busier season of the summer months, so feeling like you have the whole beach to yourselves is just what we hope you would enjoy!

Fun in the Sun

Another excellent reason for planning your spring break vacation today is that you’ll be able to enjoy some of the great things you can do in the sun. And no, we’re not talking about the sand and sun on the beach. Some of the great things that you and your family can enjoy this spring break are the Family Kingdom, Alligator Adventure, and The Track. A few other things that may be different to check out is Top Golf, Dave & Busters and Sky Zone. There are so many different options that you can choose from while staying in North Myrtle Beach that allows you and your family to enjoy time together out on the town.

Shopping

If you’re looking for a good deal this spring on some beautiful swimsuits or other fun beach equipment, you’ll be able to find just what you’re looking for. North Myrtle Beach also has many different areas that allow you to shop at Barefoot Landing and nearby Broadway at the Beach. The options are endless when you vacation to North Myrtle Beach any time of the year.

While there are so many other reasons as to why you should vacation to North Myrtle Beach this spring break, we had to share these with you. Book Direct & Save on Your North Myrtle Beach Vacation Today

Are you and your family planning a vacation to the North Myrtle Beach area this year? We need to tell you why you should #bookdirect with us if you are. Many online third-party vacation rental sites can add a 5%-20% additional fee to your reservation. We know that your vacations are significant and may limit how much you can spend each year. We at North Beach Vacations wants to make sure that you get the most out of your money when visiting the beach. The only way that you’ll be able to enjoy your vacation without getting hit with that unexpected fee is by booking direct today!

What is #BookDirect Day?

On February 2nd, 2022, we celebrate the 5th Annual Book Direct Day, which was created to help educate vacation rental guests on the benefits of booking directly through an owner or Property Management Company vs. using a Third-Party agency such as Airbnb, HomeAway, VBRO & TripAdvisor.

While you may recognize these big-name companies and their gimmicks in helping you save money, you will soon learn that they will charge you a fee for using their website. Who wants to pay extra just to try and save a little money? Some of the expenses that you may incur when you book with an OTA (Online Travel Agent) can range from 5%-20% of the total cost of your vacation rental, which in turn can cost you thousands of dollars extra depending on which rental you choose.

Why You Should Book Direct vs. an OTA?

When you book direct with North Beach Vacations, you will not only speak with one of our vacation specialists who are local to area and can give you the best information you’d need. We know all the details on each property because we have personally been to them. We can provide you with our recommendations on where to dine, play, shop, and visit businesses in the area. Our office is conveniently in North Myrtle Beach, so if any problems arise while you’re on vacation, we’re here to help.

Three generations together - Happy grandmother, granddaughter and daughter enjoying at a beach

How You Can Book Direct with North Beach Vacations Today

You will find that booking directly with us at North Beach Vacations is easy as 1, 2, 3! Escape the Winter Months with a Long-Term Rental in North Myrtle Beach

It’s hard to believe that winter will be here in just a few short months, and many don’t like to live in the cold. Instead of staying home where you could experience the cold, snow, and ice, why not stay in a Long-Term Rental in Myrtle Beach. We at North Beach Realty wanted to share why it’s a good idea to spend winter in the area to escape the cold below.

Weather

Sunrise early red ski beach water

We understand that spending time in the cold all winter long can be a downer and, for many, causes seasonal depression. Instead of dealing with the cold this winter, you could be enjoying the more excellent weather here on the Grand Strand. You’ll often find that the highs during the days are around 70 degrees, and at night it can get down in the ’50s. Even though it might not be summer, you’ll still be able to enjoy spending your days on the beach, but you may not want to swim in the water as the temps can get quite chilly.

Shopping

Shopping is another reason that many families love staying in North Myrtle Beach during the off-season. While shopping during the warmer months can be fantastic, the winter months still have a great selection as well. Not only will you have access to Barefoot Landing, but you’ll also have options to the two Tanger Outlets in the area and Broadway at the Beach. No matter what you’re looking for, we can guarantee you that North Myrtle Beach has it.

While there are many other options that you can choose from to help make your stay in the North Myrtle Beach area better, we wanted to share these with you. If you are ready to stay in the area a little longer this winter, give us a call today. We can’t wait to hear why you’ve decided to stay in North Myrtle Beach this year!

3 Fun Events Happening in the Myrtle Beach Area this April

It’s hard to believe that April is almost here, and events are happening again on the Grand Strand. Last year around this time, many events were getting canceled until further notice, not knowing when they would kick back up, but now is the time. Staying in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will allow you and your family can enjoy your vacation and be close to the fun. Let’s look below at where you can head this April to check out these three fun events.

Smoke on the Beach BBQ Competition

3 Fun Events Happening in the Myrtle Beach Area this April

If you’ve never been to Smoke on the Beach BBQ competition before, then you’re in for a fun experience. This fun and exciting event is happening on April 2nd & 3rd  at Historic Myrtle Beach Pavilion Park. The annual event was canceled last year, but it returns just for you and your family to come and explore the tasty treats on Friday night for a small fee, but there will be other food options as well. They are this year complying with all Covid-19 Regulations, so be sure not to forget your mask.

39th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

If you’re bringing the family down to spend your Easter Break here in North Myrtle Beach, then you will be in for a treat. Swing on over to McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach on Saturday, April 3rd at 10:00 am on the dot to hunt for eggs. This is an outdoor event, and they will be following all of the Covid-19 Regulations, such as social distancing and face masks are recommended. Several different age groups are available for the kids, and it’s free to attend. After the egg hunt, go and meet the Easter Bunny and take a few pictures too.

Earth Day Celebration

Another great event you can attend in April on the Grand Strand is the Earth Day Celebration at Brookgreen Gardens. Located in Murrells Inlet is where you will find this fantastic event fun for all ages. On April 24th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the whole family will learn about native plants, and the kids can explore the many different stations to finish an Earth Day passport! This is all included with the admission to the Garden.

While many other fun things are happening in April, we wanted to share these with you. If you haven’t booked your family vacation to stay in a North Myrtle Beach vacation rental, now is the time. We look forward to seeing you and your family as you relax and enjoy your time at the Beach!
