It’s hard to believe that winter will be here in just a few short months, and many don’t like to live in the cold. Instead of staying home where you could experience the cold, snow, and ice, why not stay in a Long-Term Rental in Myrtle Beach. We at North Beach Realty wanted to share why it’s a good idea to spend winter in the area to escape the cold below.
We understand that spending time in the cold all winter long can be a downer and, for many, causes seasonal depression. Instead of dealing with the cold this winter, you could be enjoying the more excellent weather here on the Grand Strand. You’ll often find that the highs during the days are around 70 degrees, and at night it can get down in the ’50s. Even though it might not be summer, you’ll still be able to enjoy spending your days on the beach, but you may not want to swim in the water as the temps can get quite chilly.
Shopping is another reason that many families love staying in North Myrtle Beach during the off-season. While shopping during the warmer months can be fantastic, the winter months still have a great selection as well. Not only will you have access to Barefoot Landing, but you’ll also have options to the two Tanger Outlets in the area and Broadway at the Beach. No matter what you’re looking for, we can guarantee you that North Myrtle Beach has it.
While there are many other options that you can choose from to help make your stay in the North Myrtle Beach area better, we wanted to share these with you. If you are ready to stay in the area a little longer this winter, give us a call today. We can’t wait to hear why you’ve decided to stay in North Myrtle Beach this year!
Summer vacations are here, and while the temperatures are rising, finding something to do for free may seem a little more complicated. We at North Beach Vacations want to share with you all three things that you can do for free this summer. Staying in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will allow you and your family to be able to be close to the excitement. Let’s look below at the three things you can do for free in North Myrtle Beach.
Vereen Memorial Gardens
A great place to start in the North Myrtle Beach area to enjoy some fresh air and a nice walk is at Vereen Memorial Gardens. This is located in Little River, which about a 15-minute drive from North Myrtle Beach, and admission is free. Known by many locals as a hidden secret, it’s the perfect location to enjoy nature in the area. Vereen Memorial Gardens has several wooden boardwalks and trails that are easy and good for all ages. And we have to say that the view is perfect with a gazebo overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.
Returning to the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex is the Sounds of Summer. This is a free event on the 3rd Friday of each month and will run through mid-September from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Another concert series happening this summer into fall is Music on Main, held at the Horseshoe on Main Street from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm every Thursday. Both of these events are free to attend and be sure to bring with you beach chairs so you can sit back and listen to the bands play.
Movies Under the Stars
Another event that is happening this year that many are excited about is Movies Under the Stars. Happening at Market Common every Friday night in July is where you’ll find movies being played. This event begins at dusk and is free to attend. Be sure to bring a blanket or beach chairs with you so the whole family can enjoy it.
While many other free things you can do for free in North Myrtle Beach, we wanted to share these with you. If you haven’t booked your next vacation to stay in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals, give us a call. We look forward to seeing you and your family soon!
Do you and your family have a vacation planned this summer to the Grand Strand? If you do, then allow us at North Beach Vacations to share with you a few things that recently opened up. Staying in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will keep you and your family close to the action. Let’s look below where you and the family can head to check out a few of the fun attractions that have recently opened up.
Funplex Amusement Park
One of the best things about summer vacations is getting to experience a new amusement park for many. The Funplex Myrtle Beach recently opened up on May 21st, 2021, and is filled with fun for everyone. Located at 1405 N. Ocean Blvd, it is where you will find this beach-themed amusement park. Some of the rides that you’ll get to experience are Hang 10 Silly Cups, Sunny Day Swings, and Up & Overboard. The Funplex also has a restaurant called Off-the-Coast Beach Bar & Grill that you can get your classic amusement park goodies from. Right now, the park is working on a reservation system, so be sure to plan your day out before just heading there immediately.
Did Someone Say Golf?
Myrtle Beach is known to many as a golfing capital, which is one reason a new course has opened up. The Aero Club Short Course recently opened up, and it’s not your typical golf course. This course is perfect for families or beginners who are looking to get a start in the game. It offers shorter holes which means that you will have less time searching for those lost golf balls and will ensure a quicker round of golf. If you’re wondering why this golf course is named “The Aero Club,” it’s a tribute to the Air Force Base that was here before. The course offers fun music, LED lights to help illuminate the courses for a fun game or two at night. Think of the new memories you can make playing a round of golf with the family!
While other fun new attractions have opened up on the Grand Strand, we wanted to share these with you. Book your summer vacation in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentalstoday. We can’t wait to see you and your family this summer!
It’s hard to believe that April is almost here, and events are happening again on the Grand Strand. Last year around this time, many events were getting canceled until further notice, not knowing when they would kick back up, but now is the time. Staying in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will allow you and your family can enjoy your vacation and be close to the fun. Let’s look below at where you can head this April to check out these three fun events.
Smoke on the Beach BBQ Competition
If you’ve never been to Smoke on the Beach BBQ competition before, then you’re in for a fun experience. This fun and exciting event is happening on April 2nd & 3rd at Historic Myrtle Beach Pavilion Park. The annual event was canceled last year, but it returns just for you and your family to come and explore the tasty treats on Friday night for a small fee, but there will be other food options as well. They are this year complying with all Covid-19 Regulations, so be sure not to forget your mask.
39th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
If you’re bringing the family down to spend your Easter
Break here in North Myrtle Beach, then you will be in for a treat. Swing on
over to McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach on Saturday, April 3rd at
10:00 am on the dot to hunt for eggs. This is an outdoor event, and they will
be following all of the Covid-19 Regulations, such as social distancing and
face masks are recommended. Several different age groups are available for the
kids, and it’s free to attend. After the egg hunt, go and meet the Easter Bunny
and take a few pictures too.
Earth Day Celebration
Another great event you can attend in April on the Grand Strand is the Earth Day Celebration at Brookgreen Gardens. Located in Murrells Inlet is where you will find this fantastic event fun for all ages. On April 24th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the whole family will learn about native plants, and the kids can explore the many different stations to finish an Earth Day passport! This is all included with the admission to the Garden.
While many other fun things are happening in April, we wanted to share these with you. If you haven’t booked your family vacation to stay in a North Myrtle Beach vacation rental, now is the time. We look forward to seeing you and your family as you relax and enjoy your time at the Beach!
Are you and your family looking to get out of town for a few days? If the answer is yes, then allow us at North Beach Vacations to tell you some reason to escape to North Myrtle Beach this fall. Staying with us in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will allow you and your family to be able to enjoy the beach a little more. Let’s look below at our three reasons on why you should take a vacation to North Myrtle Beach this fall.
Have you ever been to the beach during the fall months? If not,
then we need to tell you that the weather is fantastic and a favorite for many.
During September, the highs will be around 83° during the day and 68° in the
night. October, the temps turn a little cooler with a high around 75° and lows
around 56°. While you can still enjoy the sand during October, the water
temperatures may be a little too chilly to enjoy. No matter what month you come
this fall, we promise that you won’t want to experience the area any other time
during the year!
Another great reason to visit North Myrtle Beach this fall
is the crowd level. During the fall months, the kids are back in school, and it’s
a great time to visit. You will notice that not only are the beaches less crowded,
but the attractions are too. Take the family shopping at some of the outlets as
you see that the outlet malls aren’t too crazy. Many families prefer going in
the fall months just to beat out the crowds. Just think of how relaxing this vacation
will be with the family.
Enjoy Outdoor Activities
Spending time outdoors whenever you go on vacation is a key
thing, especially if it’s at the beach. One thing that you and your family can
do is head over to one of the many mini-golf courses and play a round or two
together. You will find that not only will it be less crowded, but you may be
able to enjoy it a little more with the cooler weather. If it’s an adult-only
trip, then why not head on over to a golf course for the day. Golfing year-round
in North Myrtle Beach is why many love to vacation here on the South Carolina
While there are many other reasons to vacation in the fall, these are just a few we wanted to share with you. If you haven’t booked your next trip to stay in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals, now is the time. We hope that you and your family will be able to enjoy a relaxing vacation to the area this fall!

Staying in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will keep you and your family close to the action. Let’s look below at what you can do this summer as a family in North Myrtle Beach.
Try a New Restaurant
North Myrtle Beach is an excellent place to vacation because
of the different dining options you have to choose from. There are several
places that your family may enjoy, such as a new milkshake bar called The Crazy
Mason Jar. They are located in the Market Common area, and it’s a sweet treat
like you’ve never had before. Another place that your family can eat at is
Umberto’s at Barefoot Landing. This is an Italian restaurant that has some of
the best family-style food. There are many other restaurants that you can pick
from in the area, so try one you’ve never eaten before.
Another fun thing that you can do with the family this summer is head on over to Alligator Adventure. They are located at Barefoot Landing, and they are open daily. Not only will you be able to see alligators, but you will also be able to see other animals as well. Some of the other animals that you may see are flamingos, bobcat, macaws, and other reptiles. This can be a fun day to spend and learn about the animals that are here. We know the kids will get a kick out of seeing the animals!
Hawaiian Rumble Golf & Batting Cages
Have you ever taken a beach trip and done a mini-golf? If you haven’t, then you are in for a fun treat. For many families, they love to take at least one evening and have a friendly game of golf. We know that many of the members in each family will get a little competitive, but they make the game enjoyable for everyone. Hawaiian Rumble Golf is a great place that is located in North Myrtle Beach, and they also have batting cages as well. Don’t miss out on this fun adventure with the family this summer.
While there are many other things that you can do in the area, these we wanted to share with you. If you haven’t booked your next summer vacation to stay in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals, we still have availability. We can’t wait to see you with your family this summer and try new things!
Do you or someone in your family love to fish? If you do, then we can tell you all about fishing on your next family vacation to North Myrtle Beach. Staying with us at North Beach Vacations will keep you and your family close to some of the best fishing locations in the area. Let’s take a look below at a few places where your family can go for some great fishing.
Cherry Grove Pier
Cherry Grove Pier in North Myrtle Beach is one of the best
places in the area to go fishing with the family! They have been open since the
1950s, and it became famous when Walter caught a 1780 lb tiger shark. No need
to have a South Carolina fishing license; it is included with your admission to
the pier. You will notice that the fishing season is from February through December
1st, and don’t worry if you don’t have a fishing pole as you can
rent one. The price of the daily pier pass is $3.00 per person, and even to walk
on the pier for breathtaking views, you must have one. We always recommend that
you go and enjoy fishing from this pier on every vacation with us.
Fishing on the Great Open Waters
Another favorite among locals and our guests is to take a day fishing trip with Little River Fishing Fleet in North Myrtle Beach. Depending on how long you’d like to be on the great open waters of the Atlantic Ocean depends on how much or what fishing adventure you should try. Each fishing trip will include your rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. Along with the fishing adventures, they also have a Dolphin Adventure Cruise that is available by calling to book. You can however, book your fishing trips online with the first date beginning on May 1st. Think of the excitement that your family could have if you surprised them with this fantastic adventure!
While there are many other places that you and your family can go fishing but these are the few, we wanted to share with you. If you haven’t booked your next vacation to stay with us at North Beach Vacations, now is the time. We hope to see you and your family soon and making new memories!

Opened from Sunrise to Sunset is a trail that you can also bring your pups along with you, but they must remain on a leash at all times. We also suggest that you don’t come alone and always walk with a buddy. The reason that we suggest this is because you may happen to see some of the wildlife that lives along the trail such as wild hogs, snakes, bobcats, and even black bears.
