Escape the Winter Months with a Long-Term Rental in North Myrtle Beach

It’s hard to believe that winter will be here in just a few short months, and many don’t like to live in the cold. Instead of staying home where you could experience the cold, snow, and ice, why not stay in a Long-Term Rental in Myrtle Beach. We at North Beach Realty wanted to share why it’s a good idea to spend winter in the area to escape the cold below.

Weather

Sunrise early red ski beach water

We understand that spending time in the cold all winter long can be a downer and, for many, causes seasonal depression. Instead of dealing with the cold this winter, you could be enjoying the more excellent weather here on the Grand Strand. You’ll often find that the highs during the days are around 70 degrees, and at night it can get down in the ’50s. Even though it might not be summer, you’ll still be able to enjoy spending your days on the beach, but you may not want to swim in the water as the temps can get quite chilly.

Shopping

Shopping is another reason that many families love staying in North Myrtle Beach during the off-season. While shopping during the warmer months can be fantastic, the winter months still have a great selection as well. Not only will you have access to Barefoot Landing, but you’ll also have options to the two Tanger Outlets in the area and Broadway at the Beach. No matter what you’re looking for, we can guarantee you that North Myrtle Beach has it.

While there are many other options that you can choose from to help make your stay in the North Myrtle Beach area better, we wanted to share these with you. If you are ready to stay in the area a little longer this winter, give us a call today. We can’t wait to hear why you’ve decided to stay in North Myrtle Beach this year!

Summer vacations are here, and while the temperatures are rising, finding something to do for free may seem a little more complicated. We at North Beach Vacations want to share with you all three things that you can do for free this summer. Staying in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will allow you and your family to be able to be close to the excitement. Let’s look below at the three things you can do for free in North Myrtle Beach.

Vereen Memorial Gardens

wooden boardwalk with trail and trees

A great place to start in the North Myrtle Beach area to enjoy some fresh air and a nice walk is at Vereen Memorial Gardens. This is located in Little River, which about a 15-minute drive from North Myrtle Beach, and admission is free.  Known by many locals as a hidden secret, it’s the perfect location to enjoy nature in the area. Vereen Memorial Gardens has several wooden boardwalks and trails that are easy and good for all ages. And we have to say that the view is perfect with a gazebo overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.

Concert Series

Returning to the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex is the Sounds of Summer. This is a free event on the 3rd Friday of each month and will run through mid-September from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Another concert series happening this summer into fall is Music on Main, held at the Horseshoe on Main Street from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm every Thursday. Both of these events are free to attend and be sure to bring with you beach chairs so you can sit back and listen to the bands play.

Movies Under the Stars

Another event that is happening this year that many are excited about is Movies Under the Stars. Happening at Market Common every Friday night in July is where you’ll find movies being played. This event begins at dusk and is free to attend. Be sure to bring a blanket or beach chairs with you so the whole family can enjoy it.

While many other free things you can do for free in North Myrtle Beach, we wanted to share these with you. If you haven’t booked your next vacation to stay in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals, give us a call. We look forward to seeing you and your family soon!

Do you and your family have a vacation planned this summer to the Grand Strand? If you do, then allow us at North Beach Vacations to share with you a few things that recently opened up. Staying in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will keep you and your family close to the action. Let’s look below where you and the family can head to check out a few of the fun attractions that have recently opened up.

Funplex Amusement Park

One of the best things about summer vacations is getting to experience a new amusement park for many. The Funplex Myrtle Beach recently opened up on May 21st, 2021, and is filled with fun for everyone. Located at 1405 N. Ocean Blvd, it is where you will find this beach-themed amusement park. Some of the rides that you’ll get to experience are Hang 10 Silly Cups, Sunny Day Swings, and Up & Overboard. The Funplex also has a restaurant called Off-the-Coast Beach Bar & Grill that you can get your classic amusement park goodies from. Right now, the park is working on a reservation system, so be sure to plan your day out before just heading there immediately.

Did Someone Say Golf?

Myrtle Beach is known to many as a golfing capital, which is one reason a new course has opened up. The Aero Club Short Course recently opened up, and it’s not your typical golf course. This course is perfect for families or beginners who are looking to get a start in the game. It offers shorter holes which means that you will have less time searching for those lost golf balls and will ensure a quicker round of golf. If you’re wondering why this golf course is named “The Aero Club,” it’s a tribute to the Air Force Base that was here before. The course offers fun music, LED lights to help illuminate the courses for a fun game or two at night. Think of the new memories you can make playing a round of golf with the family!

While other fun new attractions have opened up on the Grand Strand, we wanted to share these with you. Book your summer vacation in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentalstoday. We can’t wait to see you and your family this summer!

3 Reasons to Take a Vacation this Fall to North Myrtle Beach

Are you and your family looking to get out of town for a few days? If the answer is yes, then allow us at North Beach Vacations to tell you some reason to escape to North Myrtle Beach this fall. Staying with us in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will allow you and your family to be able to enjoy the beach a little more. Let’s look below at our three reasons on why you should take a vacation to North Myrtle Beach this fall.

Weather

3 Reasons to Take a Vacation this Fall to North Myrtle Beach

Have you ever been to the beach during the fall months? If not, then we need to tell you that the weather is fantastic and a favorite for many. During September, the highs will be around 83° during the day and 68° in the night. October, the temps turn a little cooler with a high around 75° and lows around 56°. While you can still enjoy the sand during October, the water temperatures may be a little too chilly to enjoy. No matter what month you come this fall, we promise that you won’t want to experience the area any other time during the year!

Less Crowded

Another great reason to visit North Myrtle Beach this fall is the crowd level. During the fall months, the kids are back in school, and it’s a great time to visit. You will notice that not only are the beaches less crowded, but the attractions are too. Take the family shopping at some of the outlets as you see that the outlet malls aren’t too crazy. Many families prefer going in the fall months just to beat out the crowds. Just think of how relaxing this vacation will be with the family.

Enjoy Outdoor Activities

3 Reasons to Take a Vacation this Fall to North Myrtle Beach

Spending time outdoors whenever you go on vacation is a key thing, especially if it’s at the beach. One thing that you and your family can do is head over to one of the many mini-golf courses and play a round or two together. You will find that not only will it be less crowded, but you may be able to enjoy it a little more with the cooler weather. If it’s an adult-only trip, then why not head on over to a golf course for the day. Golfing year-round in North Myrtle Beach is why many love to vacation here on the South Carolina Coast.
