If you haven’t, then we must tell you about the Early Myrtle Beach & The War Years Trolley Tour that is happening on January 7th from 2:00 pm to 4:– pm. Here you and your family will be able to climb aboard a trolley that will take you through some of Myrtle Beach’s oldest areas. You will also visit the Pine Lakes Country Club and H.B. Springs Building all while learning some history too. After the trolley you will be able to enjoy some of the shops and dining that happen to be at The Market Common. What a fun day to spend with the family all while learning more about Myrtle Beach!

South Carolina Restaurant Week at Croissants Bistro & Bakery

Beginning on January 9th through 19th your family will be able to participate in Restaurant Week in South Carolina. You can visit both locations of Croissants Bistro & Bakery where you’ll be able to enjoy a 3-Course Chef’s Tasting Menu. The price per person is $20 but you will receive the following choices:

  • First Course: Cup of French Onion Soup or Petite Chicken Salad
  • Second Course: Shrimp & Grits or Eggs Benedict
  • Third Course: Any Slice of Cake or Individual Pastry but it excludes any mini cakes or desserts for two

This can be a great date night or a great way to experience some of the food around town that you won’t want to miss.

2020 Grand Strand Boat & Sportsman Expo

This year bring the family to the 2020 Grand Strand Boat & Sportsman Expo at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. If you have ever considered purchasing a boat for your family to use on your next vacation or to use at home, this is the event for you! Not only will you be able to check out some pretty amazing boats, but you can also check out other outdoor equipment like kayaks, paddle boards and more. Admission into the event is $9 per adult, $8 per senior, $5 for children & Free for children under 3. The hours of the event are from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Friday; 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday. There is also Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach and even the two different malls to visit. No matter who you are searching a gift for, you will be able to find something for everyone on Black Friday. Just remember to leave room in your car to bring the gifts back home with you when your vacation is over.

35th Annual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta

Visit North Myrtle Beach this Thanksgiving

Head over to Little River on Saturday, November 30th to the Intracoastal Waterway at 5:00 pm. This year is the 35th Annual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta where you and your family can see the different boats in a parade on the Little River Inlet. What a great way to see boats decked out with holiday décor and more. Bring your camera as you see them along the waterway and let your kids pick out which boat is their favorite and take a picture of them. Have a great night spending time on the waterfront together as a family!

Easter Fun at Bass Pro Shops

Come to Bass Pro Shops on Saturday, April 20th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for a fun family Easter event. When you first come into the Bass Pro Shops you will be able to take a picture with the Easter Bunny and receive a free photo. Your kids can do an Easter craft in the store and there will be an egg hunt in the store from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Registration for the egg hunt will begin at 1:30 pm. Don’t miss this fun event at Bass Pro Shops with the kids for a family fun day!

The 37th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach is something for everyone to enjoy. Starting at 10:00 am the family can hunt for eggs throughout the park and it’s a free event to join in. Those who want to participate in the egg hunt will be divided into different age groups from infant and up. The Easter Bunny will be taking pictures with everyone and will be handing out candy to all the kids. Bring your camera to capture the moments that will happen at this event!

Celebrate Easter at the 4th Annual Horry County Fair

Come celebrate Easter at the Myrtle Beach Speedway for their 4th Annual Horry County Fair. On Sunday, April 21st from 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm is where you and the family can enjoy a fun county fair. To get started on the fun admission to the event is $5 per person and children 4 & under are free. Here you and your family will be able to enjoy an Easter Service, as well as carnival rides, games and so much more. There will be a petting zoo and let’s not forget about the pig racing. On Saturday, October 6th come with your family for a fun weekend at Brookgreen Gardens’ Harvest Home Festival. Barefoot Landing will have their very own Pumpkin Patch this year for you and your family to come gather your pumpkins for your vacation. Pumpkins are in several different sizes this year and will only accept cash this year. They will be donating $1 from each pumpkin sold to go help with the hurricane and flood relief efforts in our community. The pumpkins available are small for $3, medium for $8, large for $10, extra-large for $12 and Specialty for $15. And there will be live music every Friday & Saturday night from 6 pm to 9 pm. Don’t miss this great and fun activity with your family this year!

Candy in the Corn Trick or Treat Trail

Every Saturday beginning on October 13th through the 27th, your kids will want to enjoy the fun at Thompson Farms. Dress the kids up in their Halloween costumes and they will have a chance to wind through a special kid-sized corn maze to find their own treats. And if you think that is all the fun, your kids will get to meet Pippa the Pumpkin Princess, Will the Witch, the Chick-Fil-A Cow and many other fun characters. This will run from 1pm – 2 pm and is included in the general admission price of $13.50 for the kids and $15.50 for the adults!

 

Halloween Trick or Treating

If you are vacationing during the week of Halloween, then you are coming for the fun. On Wednesday, October 31st you can go trick or treating at several locations. If you’d like to stay close to North Myrtle Beach, then heading to Barefoot Landing is going to be where you want to be. Beginning at 5 pm you and your family are invited to visit shops and restaurants to go trick or treating ending at 7 pm. If you’d like to try another great location we suggest Broadway at the Beach to go get treats for the kids.
