The 40th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach is something for everyone to enjoy. Starting at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 16th, the family can hunt for eggs throughout the park and it’s a free event to join in. Those who want to participate in the egg hunt will be divided into different age groups from infant and up. The Easter Bunny will be taking pictures with everyone and will be handing out candy to all the kids. Bring your camera to capture the moments that will happen at this event!

Celebrate Easter at the 7th Annual Horry County Fair

Come celebrate Easter at the Myrtle Beach Speedway for their 7th Annual Horry County Fair. On Saturday, April 24th is where you and the family can enjoy a fun county fair. To get started on the fun admission to the event is $5 per person and children 4 & under are free. Here you and your family will be able to enjoy an Easter Service, as well as carnival rides, games and so much more. There will be a petting zoo and let’s not forget about the pig racing. This event isn’t located in North Myrtle Beach, but it’s in nearby Surfside Beach the weekend of March 11th & 12th, 2022. This festival will kick off on Friday night, March 11th, for an Anything but BBQ event starting at 5:00 pm and will end at 7:00 pm. You’ll be able to purchase from many vendors who will be featuring not only BBQ but also some great side items that go along with their barbeque. Come back on Saturday, March 12th starting at 10:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm. Check out the arts & craft vendors and bring sunscreen, cash, and an appetite to this fun event.

32nd Annual St. Patty’s Day Parade & Festival

This March, another fun event that you won’t want to miss in North Myrtle Beach is the 32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival. This is happening on Saturday, March 12th starting at 9:00 am for the parade, and the festival begins at 11:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm. Bring the family to Main Street in North Myrtle Beach and beach chairs, beach towels, or blankets by 8:30 am to get your spot to see the parade. The festival will be a street festival that will allow you to stay in the Irish spirit, including live entertainment, food, cloggers, and even Shepard’s pie-eating contest. Be sure to be dressed in green to help celebrate this fun event.

1st Annual Kite Festival

Flying kites for many families have become a tradition to make every trip to the beach. This year join in the 1st Annual Kite Festival located at Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet on Saturday, March 19th, and Sunday, March 20th, 2022. This event will begin at 11:00 am on both days, where you’ll be able to see kite demonstrations from Klig’s Kites, live music, activities for the kids, and more. You will have to pay for standard park admission for both days, which are $8 per adult, $5 for SC Seniors, $4 per child (ages 6-15), and free for children 5 & under. Don’t miss this fun event to enjoy seeing some beautiful kites flying in the sky.

This year is the 35th Annual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta where you and your family can see the different boats in a parade on the Little River Inlet. Bring your camera as you see them along the waterway and let your kids pick out which boat is their favorite and take a picture of them. Local Events Taking Place During Bike Week
The Myrtle Beach Bike Week Festival brings thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts to the Grand Strand of South Carolina each year. This Spring Rally marks the 79th anniversary of the annual event being held from May 11-20, 2018 this year. It’s 10 days full of rides, tours, special events, racing, lots of entertainment and plenty of special deals at local businesses.

The 13th annual Mayfest on Main Festival will be held on May 12 on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The festival, which lasts from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m, offers live entertainment, arts & crafts, food, a children’s area, street entertainment and much more. Bring a chair and your dancing shoes to enjoy the free concerts.

You just can’t come to the area and not attend the 37th annual World Famous Blue Crab Festival from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 19 and 20 at the waterfront in Little River. This is one of the largest festivals in the Southeast with more than 50,000 people in attendance. It features approximately 300 fine arts and crafts vendors, specialty food vendors, tremendous entertainment and a phenomenal children’s area.

The Horry County Fair will be held at the Myrtle Beach Speedway from April 20-29, 2018 this year. The 10-day event features rides, great food & drinks, live entertainment, a Battle of the Bands and tons of family fun. Come see the Robinson’s Racing Pigs, pet the animals at the Petting Zoo, exhibits, eat tons of fair food, play the games and of course ride amazing carnival rides. Kiddie rides are there for the little ones to enjoy along with Character meet and greets, Kids Dance Party and Little Big Shop. Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival

The Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival will return to downtown Myrtle Beach and will be located on the Oceanfront Boardwalk District between 8th and 9th avenues North. This year’s events include three days of food and fun running from April 20-22. Food truck vendors will serve a variety of fare, and there will also be a beer garden, children’s activities, craft vendors and more.
 
Myrtle Beach Air Show

Wings Over Myrtle Beach Air Show

The Blue Angels will return to Myrtle Beach in April after a 10-year hiatus for the Wings Over Myrtle Beach Air Show at the Myrtle Beach International Airport.

Air show events will be held over two days — April 28 and 29 — with performances by the Blue Angel Flight Demonstration Squadron, ASAF F-16 Viper Demo Team, and the GEICO Skytypers Air Show Team.

Tickets for each day are adults, $25 in advance or $30 at the gate; youth 6-17, $20 in advance or $25 at the gate; military, EMS, police and firefighters, $20 in advance or $25 at the gate; children, 5 and under, free. Two-day and family tickets are also available.
