Sound of Summer Concert Series

For those that want to hear music in North Myrtle Beach be sure to mark your calendars now for the 2017 Sounds of Summer Concert Series. The concert series begins on Friday, June 16 at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex and take place each month from 7-9 p.m.
 

Come out and enjoy an evening spent with family and friends listening and dancing to live music under the stars. One Friday each month from June 16 through Sept. 15 a different band will be performing family-friendly music.

 

The 2017 Summer Concert Schedule:

Friday, June 16 –  The Reggie Sullivan Band (Rock & Soul)
Friday, July 21 – Oracle Blue (Jazz/Pop/Funk)
Friday, August 18 –  Steve Riley Quartet (Jazz)
Friday, September 15 –  Snake Malone & Black Cat Bone (Blues

 

Snack and drinks will be available for purchase. Bring a beach chair or blanket. Tobacco products, coolers, outside food and beverages are not permitted at the concerts. Events are free and open to the public.

Grand Finale of Sweet Reggae Sundays
Sweet Reggae Sundays will have their grand finale on Labor Day Weekend, Sunday, September 4, at House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach. Come out and enjoy live reggae music, a charity raffle, and more on The Deck.
 
There will be discounted Sweetwater craft beers and a chance to win your very own custom 11-foot paddleboard. Show up and take advantage of all the other great freebies that include inner tubes, T-shirts and more.
 
Doors to The Deck open at 6 p.m. on Sunday and the live reggae music is 7-11 p.m. on The Deck stage. WKZQ is the official radio sponsor for the event and will have on-air personality Crash live at the grand finale event. The event is a collaboration between House of Blues Myrtle Beach, has Sweetwater Brewery and Surfrider Foundation
 
“House of Blues loves to marry live music with local charities as a way to party with a purpose. All the money raised at these events will go directly to Surfrider Foundation to help with their clean water efforts.
