Book Direct & Save on Your North Myrtle Beach Vacation Today

Are you and your family planning a vacation to the North Myrtle Beach area this year? We need to tell you why you should #bookdirect with us if you are. Many online third-party vacation rental sites can add a 5%-20% additional fee to your reservation. We know that your vacations are significant and may limit how much you can spend each year. We at North Beach Vacations wants to make sure that you get the most out of your money when visiting the beach. The only way that you’ll be able to enjoy your vacation without getting hit with that unexpected fee is by booking direct today!

What is #BookDirect Day?

On February 2nd, 2022, we celebrate the 5th Annual Book Direct Day, which was created to help educate vacation rental guests on the benefits of booking directly through an owner or Property Management Company vs. using a Third-Party agency such as Airbnb, HomeAway, VBRO & TripAdvisor.

While you may recognize these big-name companies and their gimmicks in helping you save money, you will soon learn that they will charge you a fee for using their website. Who wants to pay extra just to try and save a little money? Some of the expenses that you may incur when you book with an OTA (Online Travel Agent) can range from 5%-20% of the total cost of your vacation rental, which in turn can cost you thousands of dollars extra depending on which rental you choose.

Why You Should Book Direct vs. an OTA?

When you book direct with North Beach Vacations, you will not only speak with one of our vacation specialists who are local to area and can give you the best information you’d need. We know all the details on each property because we have personally been to them. We can provide you with our recommendations on where to dine, play, shop, and visit businesses in the area. Our office is conveniently in North Myrtle Beach, so if any problems arise while you’re on vacation, we’re here to help.

How You Can Book Direct with North Beach Vacations Today

You will find that booking directly with us at North Beach Vacations is easy as 1, 2, 3! We encourage all guests to book their vacations directly through our safe & secure website, www.northbeachvacations.com or call our office at (800) 274-1105. Rest assured that we will never charge any hidden fees, and we will always provide you with the best available rates on our professionally managed vacation rentals. We don’t want you to have to pay anything extra so that you can use that money to go out to eat or enjoy time on the island. We understand that your money is precious, and we can help you see that your vacation to the North Myrtle Beach area is the best one it can be each year!

Escape the Winter Months with a Long-Term Rental in North Myrtle Beach

It’s hard to believe that winter will be here in just a few short months, and many don’t like to live in the cold. Instead of staying home where you could experience the cold, snow, and ice, why not stay in a Long-Term Rental in Myrtle Beach. We at North Beach Realty wanted to share why it’s a good idea to spend winter in the area to escape the cold below.

Weather

Sunrise early red ski beach water

We understand that spending time in the cold all winter long can be a downer and, for many, causes seasonal depression. Instead of dealing with the cold this winter, you could be enjoying the more excellent weather here on the Grand Strand. You’ll often find that the highs during the days are around 70 degrees, and at night it can get down in the ’50s. Even though it might not be summer, you’ll still be able to enjoy spending your days on the beach, but you may not want to swim in the water as the temps can get quite chilly.

Shopping

Shopping is another reason that many families love staying in North Myrtle Beach during the off-season. While shopping during the warmer months can be fantastic, the winter months still have a great selection as well. Not only will you have access to Barefoot Landing, but you’ll also have options to the two Tanger Outlets in the area and Broadway at the Beach. No matter what you’re looking for, we can guarantee you that North Myrtle Beach has it.

While there are many other options that you can choose from to help make your stay in the North Myrtle Beach area better, we wanted to share these with you. If you are ready to stay in the area a little longer this winter, give us a call today. We can’t wait to hear why you’ve decided to stay in North Myrtle Beach this year!

3 Things to Do for Free in North Myrtle Beach

beach buckets with shovels and sand near edge of water

Summer vacations are here, and while the temperatures are rising, finding something to do for free may seem a little more complicated. We at North Beach Vacations want to share with you all three things that you can do for free this summer. Staying in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will allow you and your family to be able to be close to the excitement. Let’s look below at the three things you can do for free in North Myrtle Beach.

Vereen Memorial Gardens

wooden boardwalk with trail and trees

A great place to start in the North Myrtle Beach area to enjoy some fresh air and a nice walk is at Vereen Memorial Gardens. This is located in Little River, which about a 15-minute drive from North Myrtle Beach, and admission is free.  Known by many locals as a hidden secret, it’s the perfect location to enjoy nature in the area. Vereen Memorial Gardens has several wooden boardwalks and trails that are easy and good for all ages. And we have to say that the view is perfect with a gazebo overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.

Concert Series

Returning to the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex is the Sounds of Summer. This is a free event on the 3rd Friday of each month and will run through mid-September from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Another concert series happening this summer into fall is Music on Main, held at the Horseshoe on Main Street from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm every Thursday. Both of these events are free to attend and be sure to bring with you beach chairs so you can sit back and listen to the bands play.

Movies Under the Stars

Another event that is happening this year that many are excited about is Movies Under the Stars. Happening at Market Common every Friday night in July is where you’ll find movies being played. This event begins at dusk and is free to attend. Be sure to bring a blanket or beach chairs with you so the whole family can enjoy it.

While many other free things you can do for free in North Myrtle Beach, we wanted to share these with you. If you haven’t booked your next vacation to stay in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals, give us a call. We look forward to seeing you and your family soon!

Experience a Few New Attractions on the Grand Strand

ocean, waves, sand, beach umbrella and hat

Do you and your family have a vacation planned this summer to the Grand Strand? If you do, then allow us at North Beach Vacations to share with you a few things that recently opened up. Staying in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will keep you and your family close to the action. Let’s look below where you and the family can head to check out a few of the fun attractions that have recently opened up.

Funplex Amusement Park

One of the best things about summer vacations is getting to experience a new amusement park for many. The Funplex Myrtle Beach recently opened up on May 21st, 2021, and is filled with fun for everyone. Located at 1405 N. Ocean Blvd, it is where you will find this beach-themed amusement park. Some of the rides that you’ll get to experience are Hang 10 Silly Cups, Sunny Day Swings, and Up & Overboard. The Funplex also has a restaurant called Off-the-Coast Beach Bar & Grill that you can get your classic amusement park goodies from. Right now, the park is working on a reservation system, so be sure to plan your day out before just heading there immediately.

Did Someone Say Golf?

sunset, man golfing

Myrtle Beach is known to many as a golfing capital, which is one reason a new course has opened up. The Aero Club Short Course recently opened up, and it’s not your typical golf course. This course is perfect for families or beginners who are looking to get a start in the game. It offers shorter holes which means that you will have less time searching for those lost golf balls and will ensure a quicker round of golf. If you’re wondering why this golf course is named “The Aero Club,” it’s a tribute to the Air Force Base that was here before. The course offers fun music, LED lights to help illuminate the courses for a fun game or two at night. Think of the new memories you can make playing a round of golf with the family!

While other fun new attractions have opened up on the Grand Strand, we wanted to share these with you. Book your summer vacation in one of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentalstoday. We can’t wait to see you and your family this summer!

Vacationing at the beach is always a treat but getting to try a new custard joint is even better. Whit’s Frozen Custard recently opened up in North Myrtle Beach, and it’s one of the best places to grab some frozen custard.  This isn’t like any other ice cream shop on the Grand Strand, as it’s a shop that makes frozen custard daily. They have all sorts of flavors, including offering vegan, no sugar, and gluten-free treats. What a great way to start your vacation, then by heading over to Whit’s Frozen Custard for a treat!

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux

If your family loves to try new cuisine, then head on over to Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux located in Myrtle Beach. This restaurant has a menu as you’ve never seen on the east coast with traditional and authentic food from Louisiana. Some of the menu items that you’ll be able to find are Canjundillas, VooDoo Shrimp & Grits, Shrimp Poboy, and even their famous Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding. This is a family-friendly restaurant, and once you’ve tried it out, you will want to visit for years to come.

Mr. Crab

two women eating seafood at restaurant

For many, a trip to the beach isn’t complete until they visit a seafood restaurant, and if you love seafood, we have the perfect restaurant to try. Mr. Crab recently opened up in North Myrtle Beach and has some food that is amazing and delicious. Some of the items you can find on their menu are steamed oysters, crawfish, snow crab legs, many seafood combo plates. They have a good kid’s menu with chicken nuggets, fried catfish, and some of the desserts sound mouthwatering such as red velvet cake, chocolate cake, and more. This is a restaurant that you won’t want to miss on your next trip to North Myrtle Beach.

Many other new restaurants have opened up in the North Myrtle Beach area; we wanted to share these with you.
