This free event is put on by the Grand Strand Model Railroaders’ Club and is open Mondays from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“A Very Broadway Christmas,” Saturday, Dec. 3 at Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Beach, with parade at 11 a.m. from Ripley’s Aquarium, on 29th Avenue North to WonderWorks. There will be musical performances and children’s activities from 1-4 p.m in center court. The 22nd annual Tree Lighting Celebration is at 6 p.m. with fireworks at 8 p.m. Free. The 13th annual “Christmas Towne” Festival will take place from 2-6:30 p.m. on Dec. 11 in the events plaza outside Myrtle Beach Convention Center, at Oak Street and 21st Avenue North. Free admission includes parking. Sponsored by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
The annual “Lighting of the Menorah,” we take place at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 24 – the first night of Hanukkah – in Valor Memorial Garden at The Market Common, with Rabbi David Weissman.
